This drill bit is a great drill for large holes. It cuts a 1” hole in metal faster then any bit I’ve ever used. It works best if you make a small pilot hole with a small bit first. I can’t comment on how long it will last as I have not had long enough.

I bought this to make a hole for a garbage disposal on a stainless steel sink. It took some effort but overall for the price it's great. I've also bored a few holes in wood with it and it worked rather well.
