Received this item and tried it immediately. It stays on "Dry" regardless of the moisture level of the soil I put it in. I tried it on freshly watered plants, and ones I haven't watered for weeks, and it gives the same reading. I returned it for another one, and the 2nd one is exactly the same. Super disappointed and annoyed I have to deal with returning 2 of these that didn't work right out of the box.

I would usually just go around the house and water my plants not knowing if they needed to be watered or not. Now, once I reviewed my every plants required moisture level, I go around the house, measure their moisture level and water them if required.I have already noticed that the tip of my leaves are not drying and or the leaves do not have the yellow tinge because of overwatering.Glad I purchased this tool.

Love this has NO battery. 3 simple readings.. So easy love it. Not fancy but I like simple. Doesnt give you 0 to 10 wet scale. Love the simplicity of it.

This worked well. You stick the probe in the soil, and read the meter. I’m so excited to take the guess work out of when to water my houseplants. It seems sturdy.

This is a basic tool that works well. Difficult to say just how accurately it measures soil moisture over time, but it does, I believe, offer a general interpretation of soil moisture at a moment in time which serves my needs. It is easy to use and to read..
