The hinges are nice and heavy duty, however I am disappointed. These did not work in that they do not self close. I even had 2 more I stalled (4 hinges total), just in case maybe they the gate needed more “push”, and they still did not work. We tried adjusting the tension every way possible, and they still do not work.

These are pretty heavy duty hinges with adjustable tension, self closing function. They come with adjustment instructions and an Allen wrench. After using them for a week I had to give them 1 more 'click' of tension to get the proper closing strength.

Generally the fence gates hinges are large. This pair of hinges is not strong enough. The screws provided are very small and thin. The gate needs to be pushed almost near the closed position and then the hinge helps.

They worked very well for a week. Now they don’t do anything at all. I bought hinges because the conventional spring closing mechanisms can’t be mounted on a inward opening gate that’s mounted flush to the back of the post.

They seem decently sturdy. About the same quality as one would expect to find at the big orange box. The springs don't seem particularly strong though. They "barely" close my 3 foot'ish gate with enough force to actuate the spring-tensioned lever/handle. Sometime it still requires a nudge.
