It works, and is exactly as pictured, but a much lighter gauge than my others.

These saddle racks are not designed well for western saddles. There are no side bars to help hold the saddle in place. They also slant toward the wall, so the saddle slides into the wall. I am not satisfied with these at all. I would not recommend them for anyone, because I do not believe they would work for english saddles either.Sadly, I ordered two of these and then my tack room didn't get delivered in the time frame to be able to return these saddle racks. By the time my tack room got delivered so that I could install these saddle racks, I had gone passed the return limit time frame, so I guess I am just stuck with them.

I have a few of these inside my barn. I really use them, they are strong and easy to use, and look great.
