Ho assemblato la mia sesta Warmoth orientandomi sul classico design Tyler Dan Huff anni '80. Se hai ascoltato musica sai di cosa sto parlando. Quei suoni tipici dei turnisti come Landau, Huff, Lukather, Thompson, etc.... con i tipici TriStereoChorus+Detune+PCM42s+PCM70+H3000... insomma la roba seria!Dunque Strato a bestia con manico in acero "birds eye" e tastiera in palissandro, corpo in swamp ash e verniciatura Mary Kaye. Ho aggiunto i due Duncan HOT STACKS *da ponte* al manico ed in mezzo, come da specifiche usate in quegli anni. Un Tyler SHARK al ponte ed un mid booster/preamp Tyler. 4 mini switch per preamp on/off a bobine in serie/parallelo per ciascun pickup. Selettore a 5 posizioni con volume e tono, usando pots TOCOS (Tokyo Cosmos), roba high end che non ha nulla a che fare con la poltiglia CTS. Se non provi i Tocos non hai vissuto. Dunque questi Duncan sparano ma possono essere anche piuttosto delicati. Aggressivi e corposi o taglienti e con quel sound "in diretta" se in parallelo. MAGNIFICI! Il paradosso? Per una chitarra rock classico ho tirato fuori un tono jazz bellissimo! Quindi versatilità assoluta, timbriche storiche, giuste in mille situazioni. Una bomba! Hot Stacks A BESTIA!!!

Every other middle pickup was always just to go with the neck and bridge in my strats. I put this in the middle of my Jackson SL4X with a vintage hot stack in the neck and a JB JR in the bridge, and I love it. So useable by itself and it blends with the other pickups very nice. Super happy with the results and it made my SL4X so much better.
