The Seymour Duncan P-Rails with Triple Shot - flat Set, Black combines a set of the famous Seymour Duncan P-Rails pickups with 2 Triple Shot switchable mounting rings to give you 24 different tones at your fingertips without altering your guitar. The Triple Shot mounting rings (this is the flat top set) put 2 switches at your fingertips to easily select your voicing. In the past, if you wanted humbucker, P90 and Strat tones, you would have needed three different guitars. But now, the P-Rails humbucker delivers all three sounds in a pickup that is a drop-in replacement for any standard sized humbucker. The Triple Shot mounting rings put 2 switches at your fingertips to easily select your voicing. You don't have to install a mini toggle, nor use push pull pots to access the different tones. The bridge and neck P-Rails can each be split to give you an authentic P90, or it can be split to the Rail coil for Strat like tone. With both coils on, you get a big sounding humbucker that packs a nice full punch. The neck pickup in this set is RWRP (reverse wind, reverse polarity) so you are humless when using any single coil in the neck with one in the bridge. Combine them in any combo you want. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the P-Rails humbuckers use a pair of alnico 5 bar magnets, comes with 4-conductor leadwire for all of the wiring options, and they vacuum wax potted for squeal-less operation.

An Impressive variety of tones available. Bright hot pickups too. Pros: great sounding, add more functionality, and look great. Cons: Not a good selection of colors available. Screw holes we’re about a millimeter off. Personally I don’t like the plastic pickup ring. Ultimately, I am happy with my purchase these do add a lot of dimension to my sound and look good too!

Really versatile and clean tone. They elevated my guitar tone drastically. Highly recommend!

I bought a inexpensive Tele and wasn't sure what pickups I wanted. Instead of buying single coils, p-90s or humbucker, I now have all 3 with a flip of a couple switches.

Amazing tone in all positions. The series humbucker setting gives one of best sounding humbuckers I've played. P90 is true. Rails give a nice strat like tone (though the neck rail is a bit quiet). All in all the most versatile (and fun!) pickups I've had the pleasure of playing.

The sound is amazing, with many variations. From strat like to heavy humbuckers. The triple shot allows 4 settings per pickup: rail only, P-90 only, humbuckers in series, humbucker in parallel. With 2 pickups, that' s 24 combinations! The soldering between the pickup and the triple shot is already done, so you only have to worry about soldering the pickup to the pods, like any other regular pickups.

I installed this set of P-Rails and Triple Shot Rings into a James Tyler JTV-89 (with the single coil rails facing towards the neck on both pickups). I love them. This is a fantastic way for someone who has only owned a couple electric guitars to experiment and find out what kind of pickups they gravitate towards. There is a wide variety of tonal differences between all of the settings. I have mostly settled on using the single coil in the neck position for most of my clean Strat sounds, and the P90 in the bridge position for most crunch or country. I would highly recommend them.

Put these in a Schecter C-1 Classis and so far so good. I really dig the capability to switch between the different pickup configurations. Was expecting more of a noticable difference though, maybe my ears just aren't that great...

The first package was broken. The second was cracked. These appear to be incorrect. The trim rings have no curve to them at all, even the product description says it is for arched top guitars. Hopefully these work when I get them installed.I would have given this a zero star rating, but that isn't an option. I do not recommend buying this, which is a shame because they are very versatile pick ups. This hasn't been a good experience at all. Save yourself time and frustration. Buy them somewhere else so you don't get a smashed, incorrect product.
