  • One of the highest output pickups Seymour Duncan makes
  • Humbucker fits into a normal single coil slot, so you get the noise canceling effect without cutting a large hole in your guitar
  • Two thin blades with powerful coil windings give you the incredible sustain and a fat, full sound that's needed for playing heavier rock music
  • Responds to the subtlest finger movements
  • Bundle includes Dunlop variety pack of 12 picks for electric guitar; Dunlop Platinum 65 Cleaner-Polish; Dunlop polishing cloth

This single coil rails sized humbucker delivers high output, loads of midrange harmonics, and an aggressive crunch that make this a great bridge pickup for rock and metal. Chords are full and powerful, and single notes jump out with amazing sizzle. A Hot Rails in the bridge position will literally transform your Strat into a completely different instrument. This pickup is a drop-in for any standard single coil pickup route. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Hot Rails for Strat comes with a ceramic magnet, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is wax potted for squeal free operation.

You can go buy the cheap harley benton mustang clone, pop one of these in the bridge, and cover just about every nirvana song. All of them. This is his tone. All of it. Just this. This pickup.Or go spend 2 grand or six grand on some guitar like a dumb person. Just put this pickup in the bridge of anything you can make it work. A Tele? would not matter. KURT COBAIN USED CROWN PA SYSTEM POWER AMPS LIVE. I WAS THERE. He did not care. I watched him play a show with a pawn shop stella acoustic with a humbucker duct taped in the tone hole, with twist wire caps connecting that pickup to the cable connecting it to a sunn pa system power amp. He threw a middle finger at "setups".Just, they could get him to agree to using a strat with a hot rails in the bridge for recording.
