tengo este modelo desde hace años . pues volvi a comprar. en europa cuesta algo mas de cien dolares . Boton de volumen es algo fragil despues de 3 años mete ruido. es muy facil quebrarlo pues esta un poco resaltado de la pastilla .

Literally been trying to find a violin pickup for folk music which is affordable & does the job required for over 25 years, until I found this!Tried Fishman bridge insert type pickups with expensive additional EQ & preamps, yet these all sound tinny and spoil the acoustic sound of the violin, then tried a Fender electric violin but no match to the natural folky perfection rendered by the Shadow pickup!The built in preamp/EQ is perfect, with instantly accessible, easily replaceable batteries.Downsides? I had to have the bridge height adjusted by a luthier after installing the pickup below the bridge & could do with cork rather than foam on the clamp.

I've had one that's worked flawlessly for 10 years and I got this one for a friend. I've tried others but this one reproduces the sound true to what it is.

Après 2 ans, le micro ne marche plus même après avoir mis une pile neuve !Sinon avant ça marchait bien, mais attention : les boutons de réglages sont minuscules et il n'y a pas de bouton marche-arrêt. Un bouton marche arrêt serait plus utile que le réglage grave-aigüs aux effets bofbof.Et puis le réglage du bouton de volume ne se voit pas. Je vais essayer avec un point de blanco typex...

This best under bridge pickup / preamp I've tried and I've tried most. The dual piezo pickups work to collect vibrations from both the bridge and the top plate of the violin. This all but eliminates the excessive bow noise transferred by most violin under bridge pickups. Also, even standing in front of an amp, there just isn't any feedback!

ich habe denn artikel bekommen und ich habe ihn ausprobieren doch es funktioniert nicht so wie es sein sollte . Ich bin sehr enttäuscht den für so viel geld bekommt man etwas kaputtes ich hoffe dass sie etwas soffortiges unternehmen.das problem : es erhöht und verringert die lautstärke und brummt sehr lautich hoffe sie werden sich mal an die arbeit machen und etwas dagegen unternehmen weil es mir sehr wichtig ist ich bedanke ich schon mal im voraus

I have no problem with the sound quality of this pickup, but I am disappointed in the clamp on attachment. When screwed completely to the tighest position, there is still a large gap between the pickup and the violin. I have had to find things to put under the pickup to fill that space when I tighten things up, but it is a gaudy looking something because the pickup sits too high on the violin and there is a problem with the high setting when closing the case when the violin is in it. It appears to me that the engineering could be better. I am presently looking to purchase another brand that makes better attachment to my fiddle. I have tried to communicate with Shadow but they do not list a phone number or web address. It is a shame to have a product and no means of communication with the company for suggestions or corrections.
