I was very disappointed with the quality of the material of the half slip. Definitely not what I expecting of the "Shadowline" brand of the past! The finish was not soft and flowey but was stiff and wrinkly. I kept it and wore it because I did not have time to return and find another one but I would not buy it again.

The material harkens back to the products of years a go, the vintage nylons. This is soft, well made without seams that are abrasive. Smooth and comfortable.

I own several shorter 1/2 slips, but needed an ankle length one. This 34 inch slip sits just above the ankle & is perfect to wear with my maxi skirts & dresses. It is an A-line style -which I love.

I got this to use as a layer between my summer sun dresses and wool leggings so the material wouldn’t cling to my legs. It works! Now my sun dresses are winter dresses, too.
