Just the right shape and size, just the right sound. Can shake this in the hand, or loop it over the hihat rod, resting on the hat, and hit it with sticks. Feels both authentic but also high quality, and is reasonably priced.

I see cool ass drummers with these on their snares at jazz jams, so I figured this would make me cool. It does almost nothing to effect the snare, and now I have an accessory when I'm not good enough to deserve one in the eyes of these jazz "cats." Buy one to keep up appearances, not if you want a cooler snare sound.

The handle is quite firm, but that's not a critique. These are very loud and can cut through other sounds.Overall, I'll probably use them with a Clave, Cabasa and Tambourine. Those other instruments are around the volume level of the Juju Shaker.

What I liked about this product is I bought 2 ! Solid build dark earthy tone . I think these are quality and sound good with my x8 maraca and my metal high pitched maraca from India.

I dislike that, it doesn't have a little more rattles on it. Other then that, I'm satisfied.
