This paint is very gold and more than I expected. I was painting a mirror and I may paint a dresser too. It’s only 8oz but a little goes so far, it’s super realistic!Very happy 10/10

This was enough paint to paint my mailbox in my back door. It looks phenomenal. High-quality paint definitely worth the money..

You will be hard pressed to find a better kit to get started, learn, or do one project with. This set is quite efficient, the roller is perfect sized for so many projects. The pre-taped drop cloth is a gift! If you despise or dread any paint job because of the tedium of prepwork, this knocks that off. It is ready to go, everything needed is at the tip of your fingers and this company sends gloves to keep those clean as well. The set is good and is efficient for this amount of paint. The paint color I chose is a rich, warm chocolate brown. It is a thick paint, I watered some down and got equal coverage, and it covers smoothly. I find the opaque-ness of the paint to be a great asset. The plastic container opens and re-closes easily. I found the paint to be clean and easy to use. It did not run or fade, it dried quickly, and it covered a larger area than expected without fading or clumping. The popularity of chalk, clay, mineral paints has brought prices down, this may have a negative effect.

Embarking on a bathroom redo with a bold black and white theme, I found myself in a bit of a tile dilemma. With not enough tiles for my backsplash and some installation gaps that were less than ideal, I needed a fix. Enter black chalk paint, my unconventional yet effective solution.Initially, I had my doubts. Chalk paint’s appeal lies in its no-primer-needed approach, but the first coat on the wall was a worrying spectacle – splotchy and unexpectedly shiny. However, patience is a virtue, and the second coat was a game changer. It seamlessly filled in the gaps and uneven spots, drying to a perfectly even, ultra-matte finish. The depth of the black was striking – it’s not just black; it’s the epitome of black. The final result? A rescued backsplash that looks intentionally designed. This black chalk paint didn’t just cover up imperfections; it transformed them into an integral part of my bathroom’s aesthetic. It’s a testament to the power of a little creativity and the right product to turn a potential disaster into a design triumph.
