For perspective, my pant size is 38, and I got the XL size. That said, it does a good job of keeping it all in. It allows your skin to breathe. It seems that there is no wrong way to put it on. Forwards or backwards, it seems the same either way (except inside out). Putting it on is relatively easy. The length is perfect for me at 5'9". It is long enough to go well below my belt line, yet not too long to use the urinal without untucking it. An added benefit is that you cannot eat too much. The compression prevents you from over eating. The benefit is that you eat what you need, not what you want. Don't wear this to the buffet!I got this because my EDC would rub on my skin. I was using a cotton undershirt, but wanted to see if this would make me look better. While I think it does, getting it off can be a challenge, especially if you have shoulder issues. I find myself wiggling weirdly to get this off. I can do it today, but I had shoulder surgery a year ago. There's no way I could have removed it by myself before surgery.Due to the material, if you keep items in your pants pocket (me is my EDC), the belt is useless for causing friction. I find my right side slides down and I'm constantly pulling my pants up. When I wear a cotton undershirt, I do not have this issue. I wish they would add some sort of grippy material on the latter 1/4th of the shirt for the friction benefit a belt or even a typical waistband.Other than the gripes above, it's a great item that doesn't overheat me. If they could figure out how to not have my pants fall with any sort of weight in them, I would give it 5 stars easily.
