Rubbed away quicker than the regular sharpie. Sure, maybe it can hold up to "sunlight" but it is advertised as being more "permanent" and it just is not more permanent, i found it significantly less permanent.

Sharpies are known for dark black easy to mark - easy to read -markers. Fine? Ultra Fine? Broader tip? I'm sold... until you need to write on an oil change decal. Admittedly a one-trick need. Regular Sharpies write perfectly... stick the decal to the windshield glass and watch as the sun fades the writing until it disappears. So enter SHARPIE EXTREME... the ink is not jet black dark... so, immediately, it's not easy to read... to their credit, so far (knock wood) the ink doesn't seem to be fading in the sunlight. I'd have hoped for DARK BLACK, BROAD TIP, EASY TO READ - PERMANENT - Marker... several combinations give you MOST of those... still looking for one to DO IT ALL... moving on

I constantly had problems with labels washing off in the rain or under the harsh UV light of the sun. No longer an issue! These are must have for any gardener or anyone that wants to use a marker outdoors and have it last.I have only used this on plastic garden labels and they work very well

I had purchased some plant label/markers and used a regular sharpie to write the information on. Unfortunately after a couple of rain storms, the regular sharpie washed off, which unfortunately left me with some plants I no longer know what the actual strain is, so, I purchased these Sharpie extreme permanent markers and the writing is now staying very well on the plant marker/labels! I am very pleased with the quality of these markers and wish I had purchased them sooner it would have saved me many headaches.

Just get it if you have a home or office ! These are great writing tools mainly for shiny surface i.e. CD, DVD, Envelopes, Packets etcNice to have them around me and have one to wife and one daughter..
