I took apart my Marlin 60 to clean it.Because I haven't shot it in some time.I was shocked the Original buffer fell apart right In my hands... I ordered this replacement on Amazon. Seems to be made of a rubber compound instead of the plastic original.. And works amazing.

Original buffers are difficult to find for Marlin Model 60's. This material appears to absorb the recoil impact; thus, does not break. Only time will determine overall longevity. For now, I am impressed.

Listing is confusing, you will receive one not 2 as pictured. It is better than the original, but extremely difficult to install.

Perfect fit for a hard to find part. The piece is 3D printed and should be more robust than the plastic one that fell apart oem. If you have a model 60 do your rifle a favor and get a fresh buffer to save that aluminum receiver!
