I bought this for my daughter who is pregnant with my first grandchild. She’s been craving shaved ice just about every day and I imagine she’ll continue to need them frequently because she’s due at the end of summer 🤣I really love that Kitchen Aid offers so many accessories that serve many different purposes, eliminating the need to have a clusterF of small appliances.This Kitchen Aid accessory attaches and functions smoothly. Easy to wash and dry quickly and is also dishwasher safe.Plus there was a $40 coupon! Best purchase ever and it helped my son-in-law out from having to drive to the shaved ice shack every night for a pregnancy craving! 👍

So happy with this shaved ice attachment. Yet another reason to justify buying that expensive Kitchen Aid. For a unit that is mostly plastic it seems to be holding up well and is easy to clean. I like that they included two different blades - pay attention to the other reviews, your fine and coarse may be mixed up, mine weren't though. If you don't have snow cone syrup you can get by with other syrups like Torani, but they are not as thick so your mileage may vary. Overall, super happy with the ice shaver - we're using it all the time now that the weather is warming up!

Works excellently with the KitchenAid mixer we have. A great deal cheaper than the name brand alternative and seems to work just as well. Was as easy to attach as any other KitchenAid add-on. I still am looking for great syrups to go with the shaved ice, drop some recommendations for me! Works well with the variable speed of the mixer and fits perfectly. I love the many molds included because my countertop ice maker alone would not be able to keep up with the demand from neighborhood kiddos this summer!

I never knew they made something like this for a KitchenAid.I really like it, it's like Hawaiian ice DIY. I use it almost every day, I got a 10 pack of flavors to start with.I've found the course blade works best, with the fine blad it became a slushy instead of shaved iceIt's s also no louder than the machine itself.

I purchased this unit based on the positive reviews. Some of the negative comments were about the mislabled blades. Well, I found this to be a fact. I tried the fine blade, and then the Coarse blade. Well, the statements were true. The coarse labled blade was, in fact, the fine blade. So, if you purchase, try both blades to make sure they are labled correctly. Other than that, it provides a very nice final product. Once you try both bllade attachments you will notice the difference. Enjoy.

The shaved ice is very nice. I am a senior citizen and this is very difficult to use. You need to pull up a lever on top in order to put the cup on the bottom which is holding the ice puck. it takes two hands to pull the lever up, which is very hard to do as well as pull out a lever that needs to snap into place to keep the lever up so the ice fits. I will be returning it asap.
