When my husband got the package delivered. He put it on his bike to quick. Not being able to pull the cable out and start over and not being able to have the manual to do it correctly. I had my family and friends help us get the manuals instructions to it. I was able to pull it out without damaging the cable out. My husband was happy. Got on his bike correctly. He loves it. Plan on buying more bike parts. Thank you. And Sorry for my first letter to you. Again he will buy more bike parts. Maybe soon

The Shimano Tiagra shifter was a replacement for the original that broke. (Yes, the little gears turned in the shifter and no amount of solvent changed that it would not shift up, to a larger gear. Tried for two days and two solvents.) Installed effortlessly and with a little tension and adjustments was working perfectly. Rode today without too much anxiety. No hiccups and did not have to walk home in 94F weather.Shifter is much easier to use than the original. Very clean pull and no added tension. Seems lighter will see how it does over time.My ONLY gripe is finding a set would have been nicer and allowed for a smoother upgrade.
