Works great and as expected for a window fan. Two main functions - 3 different fan speeds; low, medium, high, and how the fans are spinning; intake, exhaust, or mixed. Tested each function and they all worked perfectly. The fan blows plenty of air even on the lowest setting. If you're room is hot, especially when on the upper floor where the attic borders the ceiling, I like to turn on the mixed fan setting where one blade is intake and the other exhaust. I feel like that's most effective in cooling a room. OR, if you have two fans, you can assign one fan to intake, then assign the other for exhaust. For even more added effectiveness, if you can place the exhaust fan on the upper section of your window your room will cool even faster.I'm being picky here, but a lot of modern fans has a sleep function which allows the fan's display to darken so that it's not so bright in your room. The led display is indeed quite bright, so for those who are sensitive to that kind of stuff do be weary of that. Another feature most modern fans also has the timer function, which after X amount of hours usually 2-4-6-8 hours then the fan will automatically turn off. Unfortunately, neither of those are on this window fan.Overall, still an excellent fan, just wish it had those other features found on other fans but honestly not a deal breaker as it's still super functional in cooling the room.
