This extendable/retractable shoehorn is made very well. It is long extended all the way; a lot more than what I need at my height but more is better than less in giving you 5 locking telescoping levels to use. It is compact and portable, and they give you a nice bag to keep it in for storing and traveling. It is made very well and durable for putting your shoes on, if you know how to use a shoehorn this one will last you for the ages. For me I only have trouble putting anything on my left foot bending sideways, this helps a great deal and has been a pleasant relief using it so far. This is a good value for the money and highly recommend it!

I recently purchased this telescoping shoe horn and it has proven to be very practical. The adjustable length from 16.5 inches to 19 inches allows me to use it while standing which is especially helpful as I have back issues and do not want to bend over to put on my shoes. The aluminum alloy construction is strong and the non-slip handle provides a comfortable grip. I appreciate how sturdy and lightweight it is. I also travel often so the fact that it folds down to 8.5 inches is a great feature for packing in my luggage. The shoe horn is durable and still looks brand new after several uses. The design is ergonomic making it easy to slide my foot into shoes without effort. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone especially seniors or people with mobility issues.

I was very pleased to find this shoe horn and order it, because of my special circumstances. While I technically qualify as a senior citizen (depending on who you ask) I don't have any difficulty bending down or folding my legs in order to put on shoes. What I wanted a long-handled shoe horn for is when I'm changing from normal shoes into my work/hiking boots in the garage, before going out to play in the yard. The boots have a loop in the back to assist in pulling them on, but the loop is so close to the same diameter as my finger as to make inserting my finger into the loop a challenge. And all this while trying to balance and not get my socks dirty by stepping on the garage floor, it's just a lot easier to use the shoe horn.I like the clever telescoping aluminum shaft - twist to lock, twist the other direction to unlock and collapse. It folds into a very compact size, and comes with a small drawstring bag for convenient carry (but that doesn't matter at all to me, as I will be keeping this shoe horn on my workbench).I'm giving it only 4 stars however because the heel slide/guide part of the tool only opens to 180 degrees, so the long shaft of the horn handle bumps into the back of my leg when I'm using it. Opening the pivot an additional 10 degrees or so would solve that issue, and make it 5 stars. It's still usable as-is, just not quite as good as it could be.

Nice telescopic handle shoe horn. You'd use it like an adjustable tripod, with knobs and tightening the poles to adjust height. I use these to slip on some Thursday sneakers that have nice leather that I don't want to ruin. It's pretty easy to slip this shoe horn into the back of the heel, and have an easy slip-on shoe. A nice value for what it does, and how it preserves leather around the heel of a well-made shoe.
