The description says it can fit shop-vac's 5 gallons and larger. We tested it on a 16 gallon shop-vac and it does not fit. It did filter some of the finer particles that normal make it through the standard filter and it would probably work better if it fit correctly. It also isn't very snug around the filter because of how it bunches up so dust particles escape through the crevices.

The filter material is thick, and these appear to be same as OEM filters with printed instructions on the filter itself. I would definitely buy again.

In a side-by-side comparison, these seem to be the same quality as my original Shop-Vac filters. In fact, if someone handed me one of each asked which was which, I probably couldn't tell the difference. They're the same size, color, and appear to be the same thickness although I have no way to measure that. I have an older 10 gallon Shop-Vac and these fit perfectly. The instructions printed on the filters is even exactly the same as the Shop-Vac brand, so I see no significant difference between these replacement filters and the original filters.I want to make one thing clear: the third bullet point in the sales copy starts off with, "Dual-Purpose for Wet and Dry Cleaning." If you don't read the entire bullet point it makes it sound like these can be used for wet cleaning, but these should not be used for wet vacuuming, as the last sentence in the bullet point reads. It also says the same on the actual filters. They're for wet-or-dry vacuums, but not wet vacuuming.These can be cleaned and reused if they're in good shape, and can even be rinsed with water to clean them, but you are to let them dry first before using them if you do rinse them with water. These same conditions applies to the original filters as well.To summarize, these are comparable replacement filters for larger Shop-Vac wet-or-dry vacuums.

These fit well on my 6 gallon Shop Vac. They are about the same thickness as the name brand ones so I expect they will work similarly. And having a filter on your wet dry vac to help keep tiny particles out of your lungs is really important. Changing your filter regularly helps the vacuum work up to its full potential so these will encourage me to change it more often. Happy so far.Recommended.

Simple's usually best, you know? This thing's low-tech but high-performance. I really like that I can just pop the filter off and shake it clean – reuse it tons of times. It's perfect for all that fine construction dust. They fit great and seal easily with the bands. It won't replace my Dyson for regular cleaning, but it's awesome for quick project cleanups.
