I'm 5'5" and have a short pipe that currently comes out of the wall, so I practically have to shower right up against the wall of my shower/tub combo, and bend my knees a bit when I wash my hair. I live in an old apartment and was terrified I'd bust the old pipe trying to get it out of the wall. I have a showerhead from this same brand, so it fit perfectly with this new pipe. I've learned to use the pipe tape to prevent leakage when I switched out my showerhead. Always use more than you think you'll need is my motto. Now I can take a shower without feeling like I can only shower up against the wall, and if it's better for me,it should work even better for those taller than 5'5" as it did add much-needed height.

Love it. I was worried it could lose pressure with the height but it’s fabulous and works perfectly with my rain shower head. Wish I would have gotten a higher and longer me for my good, tall friend!

It was an answer to deal with door hitting the rain shower head, now it raised the shower head and can open the door into the shower. Easy to install. Fit was great. Quality if strong. Price was excellent.

We always had an issue with the arm of our shower being too short and placing square sho. But did this extension rod make the whole process a lot different Since it creates a rain shower feeling and we are actually really happy to have it at this point. It is really easy to install and it’s just a game changer. at this point, the materials look very adorable and I might say it will last a long time.
