Adding this you your shower is great for a disabled person. I was able to extend the showerhead away from the wall and angle it directly over me. I am unable to bend and being 6ft, with a shower head arm that is only 5ft 6in on the wall has always been an issue. Now I can just step under to rinse off without issue.

Strong bendy extention that can be customized with 3 pivoting points ! They really lock in too. Does not slip or change postion when your not looking ! They are notched joints so careful when loosening to adjust that you loosen enough amd avoid stripping out the notches. I actually replaced my bent shower stub out with a stubby straight fitting to get the most out of this with height and distance so I don't have to make up for the curve downwards. Very happy with this item - exactly what I needed to get the shower head off the wall a bit. This is sturdy metal (stainless I think ) not plastic amd not cheaply made either. I woukd definitely order again amd have no regrets about this. There is nothing that I would change or think could be better at all. Its a quality piece and does its job beautifully !!

(Install tips at bottom)We are currently renovating our bathroom, and a small part of this was a new shower head/sprayer combo. Unfortunately for me, the new shower head essentially sprayed directly in my face, no matter how I adjusted it. This was of course annoying.So, I ordered this 15" adjustable extension, to rectify the issue. This one has a nice chrome finish, on all exposed surfaces. It adjusts both at top and bottom. It's clear some thought was put into this kit, as it came with plumbers tape, spare gaskets, and even a spare filter. Everything needed (other than a wrench) was included in the box.It worked great, right out of the box, with no leaks or issues. Solved my problem, and looks quite nice!Install tips:1) When loosened for adjustment, the arm has internal teeth, to ensure the arm remains stable. If you are adjusting it, and feel resistance, do not force it. Loosen it a bit more, adjust the rake, then tighten.2) If you have a sprayer/wand attachment, pay attention to how the rake may impact how the head holds the attachment. I was paying attention (for once), and noticed I'd need to adjust this during installation.3) In case you're new to this sort of DIY upgrade, do not forego using the plumbers tape. Loop the tape around the threads approximately four times, ensuring the tape does not roll upon itself, or obstruct the pipe.
