These lights are very bright, and they last all night.

We have ours on top of a higher privacy fence. It gives off just enough light that it's not pitch black and can see if anything is going on out there. We bought 2 four packs but only used 7 and have a spare in case of hail. All of them work and add a nice warm little ambiance.

Absolutely fantastic! Easiest install ever with plastic posts. I set at high and the light is very bright. I am surprised since it is a solar light. I have checked as late as 1 am and the lights are still going strong. I don't know how long they last since I go to bed. I have gotten compliments on how they look. I love them.

Lights work pretty well. The bright white color matches the white paint on my post. (A lot of plastic lights are off white) Not really a big difference between levels I and II as far as brightness of the light goes. Probably have to get really dark in the middle of nowhere to tell the difference. I have a security light that may throw it off. They're dome shaped, so they function more like a lighthouse as a location marker than a pathway light for illumination. In other words, there's no light directed towards the ground. I have wood 4x4's which are actually 3.5 x 3.5. The inside black bracket is actually 3.6 x 3.6. If you use all four screw in center, there's just enough gap that it squeezes the bracket and makes a 4-point star. This makes it impossible to fit the top light fixture back on properly. (It won't sit level) I removed all the screws from the inside and inserted the bracket back into the upper light fixture. Then I attached the light using just the two screws through the holes in the sides of the upper light fixture. It seems to hold fairly well. Will update if it doesn't work. Most people probably won't like these if they want a pathway light. I bought them because they look like little lighthouses and that's exactly the look I got. Not exactly waterproof, I have moisture inside one but not the other.

They are adaptable to post size, they are easy to install, they give a nice look albeit not a "light the way" amount of light, the rechargeable battery is easily replaceable (BONUS!!!) and they are plastic...Time will tell if the plastic stands up to changes in seasons!

These lights met and exceeded my expectations. They are able to be adapted to 4 or 5 inch posts either vinyl or wood. They look great on my deck and illuminated the first night they were installed even though they were only under the sun for a few hours. They are well worth the money I spent on them.

Have these on posts at the end of my driveway. They are still lit in the morning - just a little dimmer. Definitely recommend!
