I have had boats for over 40 years and have used Sierra products for much of that time with no regrets they make quality parts. I have no doubts this pump kit will fit and work just as good as new original parts that is how much I trust the brand. This for my 1995 Mercury 115 I just bought the end of the season last year. I had to pull apart the water outlet before use because the mud bugs plugged it up pretty good the original owner did not know how or want to so I bought the boat at fire sale price and had it up in running in less than an hour. The boat has been sitting for a few year since the last registration on it was 2020 so lot of seafoam in the gas, luckly he used non-ethonal fuel that did not go bad. I will be doing the preseason soon and this water pump is on the list. I also have a Bass Tracker Pro Tournament TX 17 with a 40HP 4Cyl that I have a sierra pump in and it works great no failures for 5 yrs I will be doing that as well soon. I am very happy with the value and will be buying more sierra parts in the future.

This kit comes with two larger (quarter sized) o-rings. They are for the small pipe that slides on top of the metal impeller housing nipple where water exits the impeller housing. There is also a small black collar in the kit. It is used to position the rubber shaft collar in the correct place. There is also a small rubber washer, that goes to the side of the impeller, you may need to pry out the old one. Finally there is a small fiber washer, that is for your gear oil drain plug. The other parts are the fiber gsskets for the impeller plate and housing. These gaskets only go in one direction, pay attention to the holes in the metal plate and housing to get the gaskets with the correct side up.

I've never seen an outboard pump water like this thing does on my unit. It was easy to install and a perfect replacement. Couldn't possibly be any happier with the purchase.

Good price, fits well. I have a 06 Optimax 115hp mis ranger serial and did not need the o rings, or at least I don’t know where they go as mine didn’t have any in the lower unit area where the pump was at.
