You cannot get a better lens for the money. Autofocus and sharpness are good with decent stabilization.

Autofocus on mine wasn't working, and I got late to replace it. Not a good experience overall. I have heard great reviews about this lens and going to buy same again from somewhere else.

I love this lens. I have no problem recommending it. I use it mostly for nature pics or landscaping. I am a novice but for what I need this lens does it perfectly. The price makes it an even better deal. Some of the items in the kit are good some are not, all in all, it’s a fantastic package.

We ordered this lens because I have been waiting for a native lens that wouldn't break the bank. I have used Sigma lenses in the past and have really been impressed with the sharpness. I have had my eye on this since it was announced in June. We ordered it Yesterday and it was delivered today. Not sure how that happened. I popped it on my A7ii and went out in the backyard with our dogs and captured a bunch of action shots. I really love this lens. I also mounted it to my A6000 crop sensor camera and got really close to some birds and stationary objects. Zoomed out all the way with the A6000 it's like a 600mm lens. I will probably use the A6000 more, especially in good lighting conditions. If you are a Sony E-Mount user want a native 100-400 lens and don't want to let go of $2500 this is the lens for you. You will not be disappointed.

I just walked back into photography in the digital world. I'm the old fashion SLR guy but with my business, I needed to up my game to DSLR. My camera came with a 28 - 70mm and I needed something to reach a little further. In stepped SIGMA with a better range than what I was eyeballing and with the extra gear, it was a no brainer on what way to go. Very satisfied with what I got and yes, I would recommend it!

Good lens, bigger than I thought but feels built tough. Good deal ordering from here instead of the normal photo shops with the free extras. Would recommend for the price.

Overall a very good daytime lens. The image quality is tac sharp and the lens is actually pretty light. The stabilization modes help a lot, and for the price, I’m very happy with my purchase, especially surprised with how light the lens is in comparison to the Sony 100-400.The lens does struggle A LOT with low light focusing, and even in the day it’s not the fastest focusing lens by any means, but I would definitely recommend it for landscape photography and wildlife!This is a FULL FRAME LENS that works on all mirrorless Sony models.

I haven’t use this lens much yet, I just got it today but I can say it does work poorly and lowlight but I didn’t buy it for anything other than photographing my kids, the sun and the moon, and photographing birds/animals/wildlife. Possibly events during the day, but it gives me reach and that was my main priority especially when I am on a tight budget being a stay at home mother of two. I am highly into birding. One day I hope to meet a raven. 😎. The auto focus works pretty accurately on my Sony a6400. It works just as much, maybe even better, than my lens kit lens that is pretty mediocre at times. I plan on visiting the zoo again one last time before it gets colder! Then I’ll capture animals in their best selves :P I hope to get a lot out of this lens. I’ll post an updated review as I use it more. Pretty disappointed in the image stabilizer as well, but I guess that’s what you get for the money. I May have to use my tripod and the monopod this lens came with quite often.
