The adhesive on all of these types of bandages make my skin itch, but these were better than most. However, the adhesive on the patch part covering my wound was VERY sticky and removing it re-irritated the wound. So, maybe not best for wounds still somewhat open. Otherwise okay.

These were used for a chronic wound that will never heal yet the surrounding skin is so delicate that regular bandages and tape are out of the question. Thus I've turned to trying to find silicone bandages my skin can tolerate that were also big enough to cover a large wound, but flexible enough to be comfortable. I am bandaging an armpit area, so it's always in motion, prone to sweating, and is a high-friction area.THESE BANDAGES!!! These are amazing! I got the ones shaped kind of like hearts and it fit to the contour of my armpit very nicely without impeding range of motion. But the best part was that at the end of the day, when I removed the dressing, it had zero leaks, zero odor breakthrough, and all of the surrounding skin remained healthy.I'm sold. Hands-down, I'm so glad to have found these. I'll be brining them with me to my doctors to see if they can get this product covered for me somehow under insurance. They're that good.

I got the pack of 4x4's, which are always an expensive size to purchase, but absolute necessities to have in your first aid kit. The foam is surprisingly soft and comfortable to wear. It says it has silver impregnated in it, to be honest, I have no idea if that even does anything - the important thing is this will keep a good size wound clean and dry.The foam adhesive holds on to dry skin pretty well, without holding too well and damaging it when you need to removed it. Warning though, the bandage doesn't seem to stick to itself very well, so don't try to overlap it on itself, like around your wrist.

This review is for the KPNEMA brand Silicone Foam Dressing 4”x4” bandage. It’s always good to have quality bandage options in your first aid kit, but this might be overkill for the average kit. If you have a difficult or slow healing wound or incision, such as from a surgery, this is an excellent option, assuming the size suits the wound/incision in question. It’s gentle on your skin yet secure, and a definite step up from the base-level bandages hospitals use.

I recently ordered this Silicone Foam Dressing Ag Sterile Wound Bandage with a waterproof gentle silicone adhesive border in the 4"x4" size (pack of 5), and I found it to be an excellent solution for wound care, offering a combination of comfort, protection, and high absorbency that ensures optimal healing conditions while preventing unnecessary irritation to the skin. The breathable and ultra-absorbent pad effectively absorbs exudate, keeping the wound area clean and promoting faster healing without causing excess moisture buildup, which is crucial for preventing infections and discomfort, especially for sensitive or slow-healing wounds. Additionally, the silicone adhesive border is designed to provide a secure yet gentle hold, making it easy to apply and remove without causing pain, skin damage, or discomfort, even for those with delicate or sensitive skin.

I cannot, obviously, test the silver content of the bandage without a lab. However, they are perfectly good foam border bandages of the size advertised, they're as waterproof as they're supposed to be, and they stick in place as well as foam border bandages from better-known manufacturers. Excellent for wound care for which the frequency of dressing changes is once or twice a week.
