A great product. I have thrown out my "cute" wooden and ceramic trivets that my serving platters or bowls were always slipping off of. It is high quality, functional, and protects my beautiful oak dining room table from the heat. I haven't used it to open a jar yet, but it will definitely replace my old jar grip.

I took a pot out if the oven and set it on the trivet and it melted, ruining my oven glove and causing a terrible mess. I’m returning the remaining three.

A real deal, 4-silicone 7.1"L x 7.1"W x 0.24" thick mats that serve as trivets and/or potholders. They work just as what they were designed to do. I already owned a larger version of these. And getting these smaller ones, let me discovery how much simpler they are to work with, in this size. Just a reminder, adhere to the notation of keeping them away from a excessive high temperature. The silicone mat does have a heat resistance of up to 446 ° F, but beyond that, they will melt some, which certainly, can cause an undesirable situation. There are some thicker ones on the market, but having have also used them, they are harder to use as potholders. Not as flexible and getting a good grip on them takes a little more time, and with a busy kitchen, I know, I just want to be able reach for a potholder and have it work. Thicker ones are GREAT as trivets, but that's it! These will do both jobs! At a bargain price point, don't pass them up. A good value, a good product!

These trivets are the perfect size for 8" and 12" pans. They've survived 450+ degree heat no problem They hang up easily so they are always accessible since they are so frequently used. The are also flexible so you can grab a cast iron skillet handle with them too.I most like they are easy to clean and can be put in the dishwasher if they get really dirty. These are made well and worth the money!

These trivets are just the right size for either a hot pad or a trivet on. your table. They hang up, work great, and as a bonus, I put three in the kitchen, and one in my mixed media texture bin, because it works so well as a GREAT texture on a gel plate!

The first thing I noticed when I took them out of the bag was that they were very sticky on both sides. I washed them but the stickiness doesn't go away.I used it under a metal bowl to prevent it from slipping on the counter. I hardly ever use the metal bowl because it slips on the counter and it is very annoying. Although not 100%, this trivet somewhat prevented it from slipping. It was very easy to mix food in the metal bowl!I also used 2 of them as potholders when taking out a hot silicon oven liner. Very useful. Then tonight, I used it to take out a hot oven tray. I didn't realize that the max temperature was 446℉, and it melted! It was totally my fault because I didn't check the max temperature. It was easy to remove the melted residue from the oven tray - I used a cotton bud and just rubbed it and it peeled right off. So MAKE SURE to use it within the mentioned temperature, otherwise it will melt! The honeycomb holes can trap food, but I assume that it can be washed of easily.Overall, they are versatile and good value for money.
