For use in conjunction with Silverstone LS02, it easily expands the amount of lighting that one can control and solves the problem of insufficient RGB 4pin connectors. It can control light via motherboard RGB software or other RGB 4pin host. Apart from this, for those enthusiast's motherboard that lacks RGB 4pin or without another signal source, the LSB01 can still offer direct control via case switch with an included cable adapter.

Muy buenas, me gustó que tengan esa pelicula mate transparente para difuminar la luz y salga más pareja, ya que no se refleja en los componentes brillosos como en otras tiras leds. Los imanes son buenos y el tamaño de las mismas tiras también, al menos dieron las medidas excelentes en un Corsair 400C, poniendo una tira arriba y la otra abajo. Configurables con Aura Sync en una Strix B450-F Gaming. Compraría otra singular por separado pero creo que solo las venden en paquete de dos.

I have an old motherboard without any RGB headers and was looking for a way to add RGB functionality to the case with software control via internal USB. This device does not do that. I mistakenly ordered it thinking this was a feature, so that's my fault. This is a feature that Silverstone SHOULD include in this product (allowing it to compete with the Cooler Master RGB Controller). I still wanted to see what controls were included in the built-in IC controller. You can connect it to a PC via a 4-pin molex power connector and cycle through different settings via a 2-pin connector. Silverstone recommends connecting the reset button connector that is included in most cases (because who actually uses the reset button on cases these days?), but I just shorted the pins with a metal tool to test it. Here are the patterns and colors you can cycle through:Static (White, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta), Fade In/Fade Out aka "Breathe" (White, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta), Rainbow "Breathe" (cycles through each color previously listed, plus a few new ones like Orange, Purple, Aqua, and then appears to randomly choose from those colors going forward), Rainbow, Off.Just for reference, I have RGB controllers on my bike wheels that are smaller in size and have far more color options that this device, so I'm not impressed with this offering. I'm sure this works fine with an RGB header, but I didn't have that option.Finally, build quality is okay. It's all plastic. The port for the power connector was misaligned with the plastic case, so I had to use a tool and force the port into the correct position in order to connect power. The LED strips appear to be decent quality and I like that the light is somewhat diffused with a thin, white cover on top of the LEDs.Overall, I won't be using this due to the limitations of RGB color controls in the built-in IC.

i just received my package today and when i already try to install it on my pc and try the ic control followed all the instructions the hub suddenly smoke!.when i turn my pc on, i think something burned inside the hub but if i put it on motherboard only its working but the built -in ic control is not

I wanted to add an RGB light strip to my computer after I had a one color (white) LED strip die out on me. I have an ASUS Deluxe II Motherboard with the AURA software and connections, so I decided to try the Silverstone RGB LED light strip out. I did some research, as not all RGB LED strips are compatible with various iterations of hardware. The ASUS Deluxe II was a 4 pin 12 Volt system, and the Silverstone set up seemed to support that.The installation was good, and I had to use the adhesive strip, as I have an all aluminum case. The Silverstone RGB lights worked perfectly with the ASUS Aura set up on my Motherboard, and the colors are an exact match. I think the light diffuser really helps, and the adhesive seems to work very well. The 4 pin arrangement plugged directly into the Motherboard 4 pin output perfectly. It also seems like this is a quality product, and I hope it serves well for a long time. Good Job Silverstone!

Initially, these worked. However, not even a week later, one of the two strips had some kind of internal short, causing the last three LEDs of one strip to not display anything but blue or yellow, an would not light up the second strip in the chain at all. The second strip, for now, works fine on its own, but not Daisy chained. I believe another reviewer had the same issue. 2 very weak magnets, but the foam tape seems to be fine. The white "diffuser" is not same length as the actual strip, so it bucks an wrinkles, making a not so clean install. I'd hoped all the negativity on Reddit an other forums where due to just bad luck, but alas, this is a TERRIBLE product! Never again.

Very simple to install. I had never before tried to use the RGB header on my ASROCK MB. I originally purchased these to use in a build for my granddaughter but first tried them out in my case. I'm going to keep these in my case and just ordered a second kit for her build. 2 RGB strips are included as well as 2 extension cables. The strips and the extensions can be used in any combination to put the lights where you prefer. The LED strips have a magnetic back and also a peal-off sticky tape to secure them in place. The ASROCK software included with the MB recognized the lights and allows you to control the color and pattern the same as the MB LEDs. VERY EASY VERY SATISFIED

Great colors and love the strips are magnetic. No problems working with my ASUS motherboard.
