It's nice to have a teapot that can go in the microwave. It takes about 6 minutes on the high setting to boil a full pot, which is enough for two large cups of tea. The handle stays cool even when the water is boiling.

The perfect teapot for my use case in terms of size and design, but the glass on this pot is incredibly lightweight to the point it feels fragile for how much it costs. If you are willing to be extra careful when using and cleaning it, it makes for a good teapot, but avoid otherwise.

It is perfect to boil water for a cup of tea on a cool day. The glass kettle is well made and durable. On time, I accidentally let the water boil for about 2 mins and thought it might crack but it did not! Glad I left enough water in the kettle. Also, works well with electric glass top stove.

Excelente, justo lo que necesitaba para calentar agua y no contaminarla con materiales tóxicos que tienen otro tipo de recipientes. Muy recomendable

Use it on the stovetop! I have a gas range and it works perfect. It’s a lot tougher than you think, of course, it’s glass but a pretty tough glass I’ve had mine for a long time and I don’t find it to be that fragile.

I started drinking hot tea on a daily basis not long ago, in part to cut down on my wine consumption:) I was frustrated the tea in an open measuring cup and it getting cold before I could finish it. (I don't like putting my cup in the microwave. No clue why that bothers me.) Anyway, I wanted a teapot that could go on the stove or in the microwave either one. This is perfect. Nice thin, borosilicate glass. Very pretty. Not heavy. Tougher than it looks. I heat the water in the microwave for 3 minutes, steep for 3 or 4 minutes, throw away the teabag, sit the pot on a little electric mug warmer, and have a nice hot pot of tea good for two or three cups. Best part of all, the spout is so well designed that when I pour the tea and sit it back on the warmer, it only drips one tiny tiny drop of tea down the front of the pot. Dries before it gets to the bottom. No mess. Like it so much I bought another one to have at work.

First, I am very picky when it comes to glassware. Borasilicate glass tolerates temperature changes well, but it’s still glass and can shatter. I want my teapot and mugs to not be compromised in any way, no bubbles, chips, cracks, or even scratches I can feel with a fingernail. I purchased the small teapot and a pack of 4 mugs. They are gorgeous! The first pack of mugs arrived in a damaged box and were damaged, so I had to return them. The replacement box had 1 mug with a scratch and 1 with bubbles and 1 with scrapes. Their product packaging is similiar to other companies packaging and is cut out on the sides which I suppose is how it gets scuffed up. The teapot was scratched. Note: the beauty of these Simax products is undeniable, but if you wash them by hand and examine them thoroughly under both bright light and a more shadowed light, you might be disappointed in what you find.
