I bought it to drain excess water from flower pot saucers 1/2” to 2” deep. It didn’t work. No directions, but seemed pretty basic to set up. I even tried cutting off the sections of tubing that came bent and kinked. I then tried draining water from a gallon jug of water to lower sink. After much work I got a tiny trickle of water. Disappointing.

I like the price and easy to assemble, I I use it to drain gas from snow blower and lawnmower when it’s time to store away when the season is over.

It was easy to plug together. (Obviously, read the arrow on the bulb to determine flow direction.) I used it to remove the gear lube from a bush hog gearbox. Worked really well. I had to hang it up for a few hours for the fluid to drip out, the gear oil being so think.I recommend.

Haven't had to use it for the water issue I bought it for yet, but I did test it in my garage sink and it pumped water just fine. If it works and lasts for any length of time, it was a great price and the quality of the plastic, etc. seems good. The tubing that comes with it are two different lengths and you can put them on either side of the pump depending on what you need. You can also cut the tubes shorter for a specific circumstance. I assume we can buy replacement tubing somewhere as well. A home improvement store, or a place that sells fish tank stuff, etc.I only tested it with water.
