Size M Linen Bread Bag (10.2x13.3 in) – Reusable Sourdough Bag with Plastic Lining, Durable for Homemade Bread, Perfect for Rolls, Muffins, Small Families (1 Pack)It is on the smaller size. The bag appears to be well made, but due to the size I would recommend it for rolls and smaller items as most loaves of bread would be too long. The drawstring closes it nice and tight.

This bread bag is smaller than some I own but still large enough to hold a full loaf of homemade sourdough and keep it fresh longer.I was happy to find no real odor from the inner lining as some of the bags I've gotten have had at first. Hand washed before using and otherwise just wipe the inside clean, otherwise probably will only wash when the outside gets dirty. The linen exterior is nice quality and attractive. The whole bag is well constructed and closes nicely with a drawstring.

Good quality. The design is cute! Used it to hold my homemade paska bread at Easter time. I had no problem fitting the entire loaf in. Easy to clean and easy to use. Definitely recommend if you want to keep.homemade bread.

The first thing I noticed when I received this bakery bag was how CLEAN it is AND the inner plastic didn’t smell at all. It’s a Medium Size, so the available width of the bag is only 9 inches. A regular sourdough loaf is a bit wider than that. Also, if your artisan loaf is longer than 10 inches, the drawstring can’t close the bag.The inner plastic is strong. I tried pinching and pulling at it, and it didn’t tear at all. The recommendation is Hand Wash. I turned it inside out and washed it with warm soap and water, then air dry. The outer layer is a rustic, gingham linen material. It’s thick material. I like that they are reusable. I haven’t tried them for the freezer, but the instructions booklet says it is possible. Before storing, the bread must be cooled down. Conclusion: Very good quality bakery bag. It is limited in the size of the loaf of bread that can be placed in there. It can fit multiple rolls or buns in it.

The bag is only useful for small loaves of bread. I bake gluten free boules and they do not fit into the bag. If you bake small loaves you may find the bag useful. It seems well made and sturdy. The plastic lining does help keep bread from drying out. My only complaint is with the size of it, it is smaller width wise than a zip top gallon bag by about 1/2 inch. I cannot fit my loaves in it at all.

There's something very appealing about the bread section of a market with fresh loaves of artisanal bread on display. They're often in paper wrappings with little plastic windows so you can see the contents, or they're sitting on display case shelves. But even more appealing is placing that beautiful loaf of hand-crafted bread in a bag like this one from Bucciaratti. Even as bread bags go, this one is so much prettier than most because of its inviting gingham pattern. The bag has a food-grade TPU plastic lining to hold in moisture and keep my bread moist and fresh. It has a drawstring top to help keep the contents tightly closed. It's 10.2"x13.3" and should accommodate almost any shaped loaf of bread. The bag is hand-washable only, which can be a hassle, but I've only done it once, when I first received it. Since then, it's a simple matter to swipe a damp cloth over the plastic lining to remove the crumbs. I don't anticipate having to do a more thorough washing again for a while, unless something spills on it. And when not in use, it can be folded up and takes up little storage space. The only concern I have about bread sitting out for a while in this bag, or any bread bag for that matter, is the fact that I live in a humid subtropical area where mold grows on things quickly. So I wouldn't store bread in the bag for more than a couple days or else I'll freeze it (in the bag). And if bread is frozen in the bag, as suggested, it might be problematic to defrost it in the bag because moisture might condense on the lining and make the bread soggy or induce mold growth. So I'll have to do the defrosting out of the bag in the fridge first, and then replace it in the bag when thawed. If you're proud of your homemade bread loaves and want to store them in style, this bread bag is the perfect place for them. Recommended.

My partner bakes bread at home, which is fantastic! The only downside to fresh, homemade bread is that it goes stale faster without preservatives. We're always on the lookout for better ways to keep his masterpieces fresh longer, like these linen sourdough bags.My first impression upon opening this was that it was just a plain muslin bag: this feels very thin, and looks just like a regular drawstring sack from the outside. In reality, it's just that the inner plastic lining is very thin which allows for these to fold down nice and flat. I like that they don't take up much space and that the plastic is purportedly BPA free. Fully unfolded, the bag is a good size to fit a small homemade sourdough boule or loaf. What I like a little less is the outer material. To be fair, it is exactly as pictured: somehow I just expected it to feel a little higher quality. This is pretty rough and dry, sort of like a flour sack. There's nothing wrong with it, I'm just not a huge fan of the farmhouse aesthetic. Also, I appreciate that this sack is able to be closed to minimize airflow and staling, but the drawstring is not as effective as other forms of closure on similar products we've used. Still, for the price, this is simple but it works.Just be careful to let your bread cool fully before storing it in the bag! Plastic keeps the bread fresher longer, but it also traps moisture: if your bread is still steaming hot, that can mean it will mold faster (not to mention you don't want to melt the plastic into your food)!
