I lost the 13mm 3/8" drive deep socket out of a SK set that I have had since 1971, and this replacement is as close as it could be to the original.Of course it isn't all worn and the chrome is much shinier than the old one, but the overall length and design are virtually identical. The set has seen a lot of use and the quality is excellent so I wanted it to be whole again.So my set is complete again and now that I spent the money, I'll probably find the lost one. Murphy.

sk are great tools, have used them for years professionally,but if you break one you will probably end up buying a socket to replace it as it takes months for them to even get to your warranty claim, to even replace a broken socket that you have paid to ship to them, as they have no dealers anywhere,they seem to be a very small customer service dept as no matter what number i call for info the same person answers phone about 10 times i have called in last 2 mos and haven't got to my pkg as of today,im going a different direction on future hand tool purchases

Had full set of SK back in the 70s, still rocking, quality American made then and now! Heavy socket for its mid-length size, no lightweight wanna-be here. I find having a short (even mod'd if needed), normal depth and a deep handy, but quite often I need one in between, this mid-deep is perfect for that, besides, you can never have enough of the right assortment of tools when you're working your magic! Wrench on guys (and gals).

Be careful when ordering this socket. It's not a full depth deep socket. It's deeper than a shallow socket but not as deep as a standard depth. See photo.The longer socket is a standard depth deep socket. The shorter socket is the S&K 13mm 8413. I'm sure it's still a good socket, and has the S&K quality. But it just isn't the one I was looking for.

I've owned SK hand tools for over 35 years with excellent results. They are made of good quality material, craftsmanship and are warrantied for life. I used mine professionally for over 30 years and now its time to replace some of the missing or worn out sockets. I would recommend these quality tools for anyone looking for good quality with reasonable price.
