Between my older son (20 yo -done playing ball - and my 10u guy, I’ve gone through a LOT of tees and various gadgets or tweaks to the OG tee. Honestly for the price of that simple rubber black tee you’d be just fine. I picked this up for the little guy and it works just fine. Quality construction, durable and easy to adjust ball. The forward placement is a great drill/skill to teach the hitter proper bat path by swinging thru the ball. Corrections obvious - Pull the ball or ball immediately goes down after contact - wrong. They are Spinning, rolling wrists too soon or overly rotating body resulting in a weak roll over.They need hip rotation to hit with power but hands must lead the bat to and thru the ball first. Knob to ball and barrel will follow. Spinning off is leading with barrel. No bueno! So this tee helps with that but I’ve tried it several times on my son’s little league team and 90% of kids ages, 6-9, struggle. I have a few dents in the metal base as a result of those moments! This is a great tool for 12 and up or advanced younger kids. Beginners not so much.

I really like this design. I would say for durability sake, this is not for kids who don't have bat control yet to hit the ball squarely. The tee will probably end up broken if its banged up from sloppy swings. As an adult player, I like this tee for the "feel" of hitting off a tee without the backlash of my bat hitting against the tee. I would recommend this launch angle tee, or a brush head tee as an alternative.

Love it. The ball does fall off more easily when not on level ground, but if you turn the top a little bit to accommodate any slight elevation/decline, it's fine. I like it

The tee itself was good. The tee topper is fragile, and broke within two weeks of purchase. Multiple messages to SKLZ, with no reply from them. In SKLZ’s infinite wisdom, they don’t sell just the topper, so to use the tee, I have to buy a whole new tee from them. Very disappointed.

The ball can easily fall off the tee, that's annoying as heck. But it is space age looking and the players like it. I'm glad I bought it. Anything that promotes more swings is a good thing
