I wouldn't classify these as sleep buds but more like earbuds you can sleep in. Which, to be honest, is what I've been looking for. For me, personally, these are not "the ones."I was very intrigued when I first heard about the Ozlo sleep buds. The features were awesome and would make configuring them to suit my needs quite easy. The biggest drawback there is the price. Plus, I learned that they don't connect directly to a device. The case connects via regular Bluetooth to the device then the case connects to the buds using some sort of low-power BT. Next, I found the Soundcore A20 buds. They also have an app and features but the MSRP is literally half that of the Ozlo. I decided I could set up my iPhone to suit my needs or use a 3rd-party apps snd decided to try the inexpensive route first. These were on sale for around $25 when I bought them. The sound quality is not bad but I listen at low volume so it's not like I'm going to experience "that deep, thumping bass." I didn't notice any dropouts or other anomalies with the connection. As a side note THESE BUDS TO NOT HAVE ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION. They are sound isolating meaning that just the act of putting them on lowers the ambient sound, kind of like ear plugs. The buds come in a charging case that could do with some design tweaks. I wouldn't say opening the case is hard but it's a minor inconvenience as there's just a seam. If you've clipped your nails really short this could be problematic. As soon as you open the case the buds turn on and if not already paired go into connect mode. The only real issue I have with the case is that you can put the buds away backwards, which isn't a dealbreaker by far.. It will look fine but the buds won't charge. If they don't "click" in magnetically you've probably got them backwards. The buds themselves are quite compact. They're relatively unobtrusive if you're a side sleeper. The instructions give you the basics pretty well and I really like the tables they put in for tap functionality. Insertion is a little weird whereby you insert them with the "lobe" pointing up then you twist toward the back, presumably to seat the tip into the ear canal, until they're positioned to sit in your ear.The short version of that is I like the buds for what they are and what I paid for them. There are a couple of quirks to them but they do the job. Now, for my experience. I would like to preference this by saying this is my experience based on the shape of my ears. Your mileage may vary.I was EXTREMELY disappointed that they only came with one extra set of tips and they appear to be replacements rather than a sizing option so as far as fit you get what you get. In addition, the tips also cover the lobe of the buds so I'm not sure any universal tip replacements would work.I put them in and laid on my side. They seemed adequately comfortable but I did notice that the top of the lobe rested on the cartilage that tuns across the middle of my ear so I wondered it that would be a problem. I turned on some music and turned the volume very low. I had set up my phone to play a playlist when my wake alarm went off (you set this up in the focus section of settings on the iPhone).I needn't have worried about the cartilage. I woke up after 3-4 hours and the openings to my ear canals were irritated. I considered just ignoring it and going back to sleep but all I could think was "get these things out of my ears." I have small ear canals and a range of tips - S/M/L at the very least - migt have mitigated this. Because I removed them myself I cannot comment on how well they stay in the ear. When I woke up I checked to make sure the playlist I had selected was playing and it was so all of that worked out.I wish there were a way to contact the manufacturer to see if maybe mine were missing those different sized tips but, unfortunately, because of the irritation I will be returning these :(.

For the price, these things are great. Found them for less than 30 bucks, and got them for listening to audio books at nighttime.I have to say, they sound wayyy better than the price would suggest. No, they aren't audiophile quality, but might be the single best mix of function and value I've tried personally. Way more bass than I expected. They feel much more comfortable than my usual Beats buds, especially when laying on a pillow. If there are controls (haven't tried them a ton) they aren't as intuitive as my Beats. These were so impressive, though, so I had to come and rate. Truly a great value for your money.

Completely comfortable. Completely functional. It has only been a few days but I cannot think of a single negative thing about these earbuds. Set up was almost immediate. These earbuds sound and feel stable with no drop-outs, no issues at all. As a side-sleeper I can barely feel them and they sound terrific. I bought these so as not to disturb my wife wile she sleeps and I listen to TV dialogue. I had no expectations of high quality audio. Music sounded excellent with these! The instruments sounded distinct and separate as in surround-sound. I am super happy with these and at $24.00 this is a steal.

These earbuds are great, especially given the price. They're so comfortable while sleeping and stayed put all night. I only listen to white noise while sleeping, so the sound quality was fine for me. The only negative is the battery life on the earbuds themselves. The time range was clearly noted in the description, but I was hoping to get the longer end of the estimate. Unfortunately for me, the charge only lasted 4.5 hours. Since I'd be using them to block out my husband's snoring, these aren't going to work for my needs. But, if you just want to listen music/noise as you fall asleep, I highly recommend them!

These are fan-friggin-tastic! I have small ears and tiny ear canals. I normally can't use earbuds. Add in being a side sleeper and finding sleep phones was impossible. Or so I thought. These babies are small enough I can comfortably lay on my side and barely feel them. The sound is pretty dang good too. So.... THANKYOU!

Okay, I was skeptical like, how good can $25 earbuds really be? But my old sleep buds bit the dust, and I figured, why not? Honestly? These are an absolute steal. The sound is way better than expected, they fit perfectly (no awkward readjusting every 10 seconds), and they look sleek and modern. Battery life? Easily holds its own against way pricier brands. If you’re on the fence, just do it. These little guys punch way above their weight.

These are awesome!! I wear headphones when I go to sleep and all of the earbuds either hurt my ears or push against my eardrum where it mutes all sound when I lay on my side. These are PERFECT, they don't do either. They sound great, still block out most noise when my husband is watching TV, and super comfortable. My one complaint is that they're so small I lose them every night and have to hunt for them in the mornings lol.
