Follow directions on which size to order. Place a nickel on a table, put muzzle on the nickel. If you can see the nickel order the large Orange size.Very impressed with how substantial this device is. Not made of plastic. Some kind of thick nylon that is so thick it seems unbreakable.Can't wait to get another one. I have large and small pistols and need both sizes.This is a game changer on racking to break in a pistol especially for those with injured hands.If you order the wrong size call before starting an Amazon return.Great customer service. I can't wait to show off these units to friends at the gun range.

I have trouble with pulling back the slide on Semi auto pistols. This helps me with a better grip and even allows me to push weapon against hard surface to rack a round.

If you need this, then just know it works as well or better than you might expect!Only issue is it is very expensive for a block of 3D printed plastic. The person who came up with this shooting aid deserves to be paid for the idea just would have been nice for a more reasonable price.Still, highly recommended as it does what is intended and should last for years!

I purchased this device for my wife, who has developed arthritis and has a difficult time racking the slide, on pistols we shoot at the ranges. It makes that operation Super Easy! This device could be placed against a bench, wall, or whatever for working the slide, or simply allowing an easy, comfortable grip without straining a hand when moving the slide back. It is equipped with 2 separate size positions so will accommodate many small and medium-size brands of semi-auto pistols. Well worth the price for anybody looking to make racking the slide real easy.

My wife has always had a hard time with racking slides of semi-auto pistols. We tried all sort of techniques to no avail, unfortunately in her case it's not just a matter of lack of strength, but rather a result of health issues she has.Because we just couldn't accept that she could not carry and be safe, we tried revolvers (I love revolvers as range guns btw, my absolute favorite gun to shoot is my GP100) because she could operate them with no problem. Unfortunately we then encountered more problems. 3-4" all-steel revolvers are great to shoot and effective, but they are too heavy and difficult to conceal. On the other hand, snub nose lightweight revolvers in 38spl when loaded with good defensive ammo (with enough velocity out of a short barrel to expand reliably) kick like a damn mule! And if you have small, skinny hands, that is painful enough to make you hate shooting it, which means you won't shoot it enough to be proficient. Which is unacceptable.So, after we abandoned the revolver idea, I decided to think outside the box, and got my wife this Handi-Racker along with a double stack 9mm semi-auto. The result? She can shoot the 9mm very well and likes it. She keeps the Handi-Racker in the pistol box, so she always has it at the range for racking the slide (which is super easy, especially on the shooting bench) or clearing malfunctions. She uses the slide release during mag changes, which I also prefer to do. And we found a way for her to conceal carry the pistol, which even though it's not small it's lighter and a bit smaller than any revolver she can shoot well, and it's loaded with 16+1 rounds of 124gr +P 9mm.Sure, not being able to clear a malfunction with tap/rack/bang in a self defense situation is far from ideal, but there are several pistols nowadays that are extremely reliable, and we made sure to shoot this pistol extensively (more than 1000 rounds including defensive ammo with zero malfunctions) before we considered it good for carry. And this is by far the best compromise we could find. In my opinion MUCH better than carrying a .22 revolver.So, this Handi-Racker works REALLY well to allow people who have a hard time manipulating slides, for whatever reason, to do it effortlessly. It's a great tool to have on the range, and it can give people the confidence to shoot and train with semi-auto pistols.

This Handi-Racker 2 is one of the best items on my gun bench , it allows me to rack any make or model of pistols that I have , or any I expect to have , with ease and safety . I originally brought this tool to use due to me having Arthritis in my hands and , some models having difficult slides to rack when loading or cleaning, or just stiff being brand new and not broken in yet . The racker large ( orange ) and the racker small ( green ) fit all sizes by allowing the front of the slide to push against the rack base without the front sight touching any part of the push block due to the built in slot. It can be used as a aid to rack by placing the block on the top of the slide and racking with ease , but I found that if you place it length way on the bench top , I could push down and rack any slide with ease as many times as I wanted too ,with very little effort . Great for breaking in a new slide on days you can't get to the range , or to check for function without wearing your arm and hand out. Highly recommend this product !
