I was able to make this work by using my own epoxy to fasten it to the rail. The included glue pad was not strong enough and it came off quickly.

This thing was OK for about a month. It worked kind of hard, but it was acceptable. And then it started sliding all over the door. Do not recommend. Bad deal. Now I can’t return it.

Great Gadget, Very Small, should be cheaper. Design is awesome, holds the door at the spot I wanted.

I purchased this to add an additional stop to my van's slider. It worked nicely for about 3 weeks, and then came loose. I would have given it one star, but someone might be able to find a way to use the stopper to make a more permanent stop. I didn't feel like messing with it.

Some of these door stop shims are epoxied into the slide, and some are like this on that use adhesive tape. In my mind a good epoxy is probably the strongest, but harder to remove if that is ever desired. Unfortunately, some of the Chinese epoxies are not up to snuff. This is the first one of these where it is installed using a tape strip on the bottom of the shim. This one did stick fairly tight, but not sure if it will come loose with time & use. Shim works well to hold the open door in position up to a moderate slope.
