When I saw the listing for this and watched the video on the listing, I had to have it. I’m an avid hunter, love sport shooting and just thought this would be a great, fun thing to have.Assembly for this was fairly easy. It took me approximately 15 minutes to put it together. Some of the fasteners are not easy to access and so it takes a little bit of wrangling when you have big fat hands and fingers like I do to get at them. Once it was assembled, I realized I didn’t have any ammunition for it so it took me a few days to actually shoot it as I was waiting for some ammo to show up. I ordered some from Amazon, clay ones for practice shooting and some stainless steel BB’s for actual more serious shots.Once my ammunition arrived, I ran outside to quickly take a few shots because I was dying to use it. I didn’t have a lot of time so I literally got about a half a dozen shots off before I had to head out the door. My first shot was dead on and I was super impressed with this slingshot. Every shot after that was all over the board and as much as I tried to adjust it, it just kept jumping around. I’m a really good marksman and I shoot archery but I was really afraid it was me that was missing with this. I was just not very good at this. I had a group of buddies heading up to my property in Northern Michigan for the weekend so I brought this with so we could all shoot it. There were four of us there, all of us pretty big into sport shooting. We took turns on it and again, it was all over the place. We thought maybe the clay rounds were not accurate so we switched to the stainless steel BB’s. Unfortunately, it was the same thing. Our shots were all over the place and not very accurate. We noticed at about 20 to 25 yards it is fairly accurate, but there is a huge difference between 25 yards and anything beyond that. Beyond 25 yards the BB’s just dropped right off and we rarely hit the target. Not like the video in the advertisement where it shows a guy shooting a bottle sitting on top of the fence around 75 yards away and the bottle explodes. you’re definitely not going to do that with this. We shot at a cardboard box and a lot of times as you can see in my photos, the BBs would blow in one side of the box and out the other side, so it does have decent power. It’s lightweight to hold, but not the best balanced. Loading the BBs in the sling and pulling it back to get the BB’s to sit behind the rest is a little bit difficult and definitely not a quick process. It does shoot easily with minimal trigger pull and functions the way that you would expect it to with the exception of the accuracy or lack there of.Unfortunately, because of the lack of accuracy I can only give this three stars. Considering what these cost to buy I certainly wouldn’t spend that kind of money on something that is not more consistent or accurate than this is. If the money doesn’t bother you, it is a heck of a lot of fun to go out and shoot though.
