Very durable rubber. Fit like a glove although I had to go up a size in the paws jaws to apply them. My terrier was not as compliant as the dogs in the video when putting them on. Once on, he ran through the snow without freezing wet paws. They stayed on without losing them in the snow. Took a bit of practice at first putting them on but we got the hang of it. Very recommended product.

This works so well for putting the xxs size booties on my Yorkie mix! It is really hard to stretch them open enough with my hands and he has longer leg hair so it helps with avoiding getting the hairs caught in an uncomfy position in the boot.

This tool looks like a good idea but it is more difficult and takes more time to use this tool than it takes to simply spread the mouth of the booties apart to slip them on the dogs foot. It is not worth your money. Not eligible for free returns means I just spent $25 on an item that I cannot use.

This is a vast improvement over the piece of PVC pipe I was using to put on the Pawz. The tool is bit on the light side so I have to wonder about longevity but once you get the hang of putting the bootie on the device, it works quite well and leaves the other hand free to hold the dog’s paw and direct it into the bootie. Of course each time I put on a bootie the dog runs away and I spend more time searching for him then actually installing to boots. The device is a lot less frustrating then doing by hand. Well worth it.

I was skeptical at first since my my dog has very little feet and the salt outside gets her within a minute but it actually worked. It takes skill to wrangle a wiggly little dog but the jaws opened large and her foots slipped right in. I am surprised I have never seen this at the pet store - I never knew it exsisted.

For me, this was a waste of money. I have a really nice set of booties with a sock upper and rubber sole. This tool will not work for this type of boot . It is more trouble to keep the bootie on the tool than to put the bootie on the dog. Getting this type of boot on the tool is a nightmare and nearly impossible. Then when you open the jaws, the bootie get flung off the tool. It's a nice way to frustrate yourself, so I'm returning mine. With the correct engineering, it might be able to work, but the engineers (who couldn't manage to put a spring load on the device) couldn't be bothered to correctly test and vet their product. I give it one star because, well, I'm a generous person at heart.

This simple tool makes putting on doggy rubber boot much easier. Cuts down the time required and makes positioning the boots on the paws much easier.

It was a little awkward at first but, it gets easier as I used it more often. I think the boots are made a lot tighter than last year. All in all it’s a helpful product.

Oh, the saga of attempting to put rubber boots on my dog took an unexpected turn into the realm of danger and acrobatics with this device. Let me regale you with the tale of the bootie battle that unfolded. At first glance, this contraption seemed like the hero my pup's paws needed—a knight in shining armor ready to effortlessly slide those rubber boots onto his delicate feet. Little did I know, it harbored a secret agenda to transform into a canine leg-bending bear trap. The rubberband-like quality of the booties, paired with the device's design that could give even a contortionist pause, turned what should have been a routine bootie application into a perilous ordeal. Picture a doggy version of a high-stakes game of Twister, with the added suspense of potential limb-snapping.On my inaugural attempt, the bootie slingshot effect nearly turned my poor pup's leg into a pretzel. It was like trying to wrestle with an unruly rubber band hell-bent on rebellion. The booties themselves, once wrangled onto the paws, proved to be sturdy and reliable, albeit requiring the finesse of a seasoned bootie wrangler. In essence, the booties are a win (once you manage to get them on), but the device itself? A hazard waiting to pounce on unsuspecting canine limbs. It's like trying to tame a wild beast with a pogo stick—you might survive, but the odds aren't exactly in your favor.Proceed with caution, fellow paw protectors. This device walks the fine line between being a helpful ally and a potential orthopedic nightmare for your furry friend. Two stars for the drama, the danger, and the unexpected circus act it turned my dog into
