On the safety front, they've got a composite toe meeting European standards, which gives you good protection without the extra heft of steel, plus the whole boot is metal-free. The outsole is designed to handle slips, abrasions, and punctures. Now, the main thing you really need to pay attention to with these is the sizing; the manufacturer themselves recommend ordering a half size up from your normal because of their tailored cut. For about sixty-three dollars when they're on sale, you're looking at a reasonable package of features, assuming they hold up over time. So, if you nail the sizing, these could actually be a pretty smart pick.

Sizes run very small. Ordered a size 12 for my husband and my dad, who only wears a size ten boot. Ouodntnget them on his feet. Had to return them.
