Your cart is empty. In order to make spark plug removal a little easier in the crowded F-car engine compartment; SLP has developed this modified Spark Plug Socket. Cut down to fit into extremely tight areas; the socket has had the square drive removed to allow the plug to protrude. The socket is turned using an open or box end wrench on the hex base.

My plugs are covered by my headers and I could not get a regular socket on them. This one gets on. But it is expensive for the 1 socket.

If your getting this for the 2000 chevy blazer spark plug, get a 13/16 crows foot to fit the hex on the socket...with a joint socket and an a longer extemsion, your fingers might cramp but you'll get it...Godspeed fellow mechanics.

Bought this for header plugs. It did work and did the job. But they didn’t send the socket pictured they sent a $5 Milwaukee SLP socket. I wish I would have known that and could have saved a lot. Feels like it was a scam.Save some money part #. 45-34-9066

It worked as advertised. I have a Nova SBC with Hedman Headers that makes #4 plug hard to get out. I had to get under car and reach up. The SLP slipped right over shorty plug and I used a offset 13/16 open end wrench to loosen it. I wrapped tape around the SLP socket because the socket surface is very smooth hard to grip with fingertips to start threading new plug

I have a couple of the special 5/8 specialty spark plug sockets for those low access areas, like when the plug is behind a header tube. The SLP 30102 is by far the superior socket; better craftsmanship and more strength of material. It may cost a couple of dollars more, but this is a 'life-time' tool.
