These lids are easy to use and work well for covering partially used cans of both human and pet food. They clean well in the dishwasher and seal tightly enough to protect against things drying out. They do not seal tightly enough to prevent spills should the can be dropped or tipped over.

I originally had plastic covers from the pet store but wanted something more flexible. These covers are cute and cover all sizes of cans easily. They’ve held up well for the months I’ve had them and wash well too.

I have another set of these that I would trust in the refrigerator if I were to say bump a can of broth and turn it over, the other ones would hold. They may spill a little, but it wouldn't pop off. These might pop off the can if it were half a can of broth or so. They just don't hold really secure. I just use them for cat food, so not a big issue, but if you have a cat that gets into their food when they shouldn't these won't keep them out either.

I have never used this kind of lid before; I've always grabbed the plastic ones on display in the pet food aisle at Walmart. Those plastic lids, though, I've always found a little hard to get on completely as they seem to fit pretty tight. These fit just right, and I haven't had the trouble some reviewers have had with getting the right groove lined up, or getting them clean. The only drawback I would say is that if you drop a can, those tight plastic lids generally stay on and I'm not sure these would. Hopefully not a theory I'll be testing too often. I would order these again.
