Product Description

rf connector

A coaxial connector, also known as a coax connector, is an electronic component typically used to connect coaxial cables to electronic equipment such as televisions, tuners, radio transceivers, and more. The coaxial connector is a type of connector used for transmitting high-frequency signals and is comprised of an inner conductor, an outer conductor, and an insulating material.

Coaxial cables have excellent shielding properties that prevent interference and leakage of high-frequency signals. Therefore, coaxial connectors are widely used in television signal transmission, RF equipment connections, wireless communication in the radio frequency range, and many other fields. Common types of coaxial connectors include BNC, SMA, F-type, and others, each with specific uses and applications.

CONNECTOR

BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman)

Featuring a quick-connect bayonet coupling, commonly used in video and telecommunications.

CONNECTOR

F-Type

Widely used in cable television and satellite systems.

CONNECTOR

N-Type

Designed for medium to high-power applications, offering good performance at higher frequencies.

CONNECTOR

TNC (Threaded Neill-Concelman)

Similar to BNC but with a threaded coupling for enhanced stability in vibration-prone environments.

RF Coax Connector Feature

CONNECTOR

Easy installation

Coaxial connectors have a threaded structure, which makes them easy to install, disassemble, and replace

connector

Gender

Connectors come in male and female versions. The gender refers to the internal and external components of the connector. Matching the gender of connectors ensures proper connection and signal continuity.

Durability

Coaxial connectors are made of metal materials, which provide good durability and corrosion resistance

bnc

Entertainment Systems

Connectors can be found in home entertainment systems, connecting audio and video components for a variety of devices

CABLE

Telecommunications

Connectors are used in various telecommunications applications, including voice and data transmission. They are integral in establishing reliable connections for telephone and internet services

CABLE

Satellite Television

Connectors are employed in satellite television installations to connect satellite dishes to receivers, enabling the transmission of television signals

I was a little disappointed in these connectors. If you try and crew on a coax cable that is not an RG 59 type cable you need to force then on.

The product arrived quickly, and does indeed adapt F connector (as is used on 75 ohm TV cable), and SMA connector (as is used on, for example, 50 ohm test equipment, antennas, etc.).However it is _not_ a minimum loss pad (does not match 75 ohms to 50 ohms and vice versa). The center pins are connected directly together.Agree, the product description did not say "minimum loss pad", and many would not care or notice.Just adding this description in case the distinction matters to you (e.g. lab application to measure 75 ohm TV cable equipment with 50 ohm test equipment). That said, they are inexpensive, so I will keep rather than return.
