At this point I've plugged them in to check to see if they work. They do. I haven't studied picture quality, but there was no static or major color shifts in the test.The only thing I've noticed is that you can't tighten the screws from both cables. The screw on one side of this unit completely fill the threads of the nut on the other side. So, you can tighten from one side only. But, that's not a deal breaker for me. My cables rarely get moved enough to notice. Never enough to pull these plugs apart. (These adapters have a great, snug fit!)

I used these to extend a cable to prevent accidents during presentations - works just fine. It does have screws to firmly secure to the mating end of the cable.Does what you need, good price!

These work. Can run vga cables about 20 feet long now. I mostly switched over to newer technology. These are good for working on the old stuff. I still get a few requests for that. Bargain price. Buy them if you need them.

I purchased these for those times when I need to gender change my cables for test purposes or to connect to cables together to make a longer one. These are excellent VGA or HD15 mini gender changers. The construction is solid and durable. Quality components are used throughout.Contrary to a lot of reviews, the ones that I received allow you to screw both sides in to secure both cables to the gender changer. That’s a definite big plus. This could be a design change as a lot of those reviews are older reviews.Would I recommend it? Yes. These are about as good as you’re going to get for a VGA HD15 female to female mini gender changer.
