I needed to replace the lock on a used curio cabinet that I bought on Facebook marketplace, this sure came in handy. Not sure why people complain about the hardware, it keeps the price down, you can always go to the big box store pay a little more for some lock and key that will probably more expensive and not a perfect match to the replacement, I just needed something to keep the door closed and locked, to keep my little grand nephews and nieces from getting into it .

I bought an old curio cabinet and the lock was starting to go out. It finally broke apart into pieces. This lock was a exact replacement for my curio cabinet and matched perfectly! As others have mentioned. The screws that are provided are not good at all. I just used the screws from the old lock.

We had purchased a curio cabinet and the locking device had been removed. I love the color and the look of this lock and it fit perfectly over the hole that was already in the cabinet. It was easy to install. The screws were too weak for the wood that we were putting them into and they broke off. We had to purchase different screws. It looks great on the cabinet and works good.

The old lock on the curio cabinet broke. This one was just like it so it was an easy change out and even uses the same key. More decorative then anything but it does keep the door shut.

My son inherited his Pawpaw's antique cherry wood gun cabinet that he handmade decades ago. This gun cabinet has a lifetime of fond memories & a wealth of sentimental value, so we were sad when we discovered the old antique lock was broken. I searched all the local hardware stores in my area for a replica of the antique lock, to no avail. Thankfully, we found a close replica on Amazon that fit perfect, the lock works great & now the old gun cabinet is restored, polished, and looks beautiful.
