This is a fantastic light-weight pack. It's on the smaller size, great for travel and loading into a suitcase for the day hikes or shore excursions you might do. Great for a middle-school or elementary kid if not too many heavy books loaded. Great for an airport travel bag when you know you don't want a heavier pack all day. Excellent spaces for a phone (iPhone 14 Pro fit great) and slots for iPad inside. Lots of zippered and mesh compartments, three alone on the outside front. Compression straps are nice for a small pack, there's a waist strap, and even the front shoulder straps have the adjustable vertical cross-strap positioning over the chest, which is a bigger backpack feature and nice to see here. The shoulder straps are designed with a large space where they attach to the top of the pack, ensuring a good space for your neck and no rubbing. I think this is a key design element and it's the first thing I look for in small packs. All around a fantastic little pack with big-pack features. The only caveat is the material is thin and lightweight, unlike heavier canvas daypacks. I'm not sure this pack would last me years and years, and I hope the stitching and material can last. I wouldn't load this up with heavy weight, like a lot of rocks or shells or heavy items from a farmer's market if I wanted it to last long. I could be wrong.

I am a day hiker who used to hike with a large backpack. That was a mistake on several fronts, but mostly because I would bring all sorts of junk that weighed me down. Yet, I do want to carry a backpack for water, snacks, and a small "emergency" kit that contains a flashlight, a little first aid, a little battery bank, and the like. That kit has come in handy in the past, even if it was to use a bandaid. This backpack is perfect for my needs. It is not built quite as well as the "O" brand, which costs over twice as much. The material is polyester and lighter weight, and the zippers are not quite as good. However, the backpack seems sturdy, and all the zippers did pull well.Additionally, this little backpack is loaded with all sorts of pockets and has various attachment points. I like to put different things in different pockets, and organization should be effortless with this piece of kit. It has both a chest and waist strap, which is excellent. It even has a port if you want to use a water bladder (which I never use because I think the water tastes like plastic), as well as an attachment for a set of keys (a must). This small backpack has everything that you need for short/day hikes. I'll include a few photos; I'm 6'3", so you can gauge the size of the backpack based on that measurement.

I got this bag for my 7 year old daughter as a hiking/go bag. Today we set it up with all her “explorer” and emergency tools. She loves the color and the phone pouch that is conveniently placed on the front chest where you could listen to something or have a conversation without headphones if necessary. The quality seemed great to me. The bag has several single pouches and dividers within the main pouch. The zippers moved smoothly and felt reliable. The back is cushioned nicely and chest and waist straps are available to distribute the load. There is no dedicated camelback bladder space, but one could be used in the “computer” compartment and the headphones hole located on the top of the main pouch (far from the cell phone holder) could serve as the camelback hose entrance. My daughter was ecstatic when she found the small zipper pouch towards the top of the main pouch and I told her it was a map pouch. She immediately stuffed her bug guide in it and asked if it was ok to put a book in the map pouch. I told her that was a great idea. The bag is a little big for her, but at the rate she’s growing, I think it’ll fit her nicely soon. She tried to wear it to the dinner table, but found the seat was uncomfortable with her hiking bag on.This bag is smaller (and girlier) than the hiking/assault pack I wore in Afghanistan, but the quality seems to be on par.Overall, my daughter and I are both very happy with it.

I like that I can fit a lot in this backpack and the different compartments keep it organized. Beverage holders are spacious enough for large bottles and the straps keep bottle secure. The phone holder on the strap is a bit clunky but very convenient. The chest and shoulder straps help distribute the weight to keep it from pulling on your shoulders. Good, lightweight pack for travel.

This bag is an absolute workhorse! Small and compact enough to go anywhere, yet versatile with more compartments than I think I've even found yet. Lightweight but sturdy material and comfortable to throw on your back for a hike or use as a carryon when traveling. Even some useful survival info printed on the inside of the main compartment. I would highly recommend

This is the perfect hiking backpack. I really love the neutral colors, the attention to detail with the various pockets and where they are placed, as well as it's light weight, making it a great option for walking or hiking. I was able to fit everything I needed to take along with us for a nature hike. There are pockets for water bottle, hold your phone, a large inner compartment. You can organize well using this backpack. I have got a lot of use out of it so far. I look forward to taking it on my camping trip this summer as well.

This backpack is a great companion for day hikes and short trips. Its 20L capacity is just right for carrying essentials like water, snacks, and a light jacket. The dedicated phone pocket is a thoughtful addition, keeping my device easily accessible. The backpack is lightweight and comfortable to wear, even for extended periods.I gave it 4 stars because, while it’s generally well-made, the material feels a bit thin and may not hold up under heavy use. Also, more internal compartments would help with organization. Still, it’s a solid choice for casual hikers and travelers looking for a compact and functional backpack
