Love this light!For the size, it is very light and easy to use!It's not a very expensive light so it's easy to buy multiple and it gets fairly bright for the price and size. In terms of battery, it doesn't last SUPER long, but it lasts a few hours at full brightness at full charge. I've never had heating problems with this.The functionality of this is super versatile, there is different rgb settings and warmth and brightness can be adjusted! There can also be different fx settings.

Small, powerful light, plenty of modes and the magnets can be handy too. Makes a great alternative to a strobe for moody shots, or as an accent light. Love it for my particular style of photography. Just a matter of knowing how much brightness you need, and how big of a device. For me it was lower brightness and small size.

its small and pretty powerful for its size. Great to have in my camera bag when a little extra light is needed without the bulk of some other panels. Feels great quality and gives plenty of light for up close shooting.

These lights are very easy to use, are very versatile and well made. They're not SUPER bright, but I wouldnt expect them to be at this price point.

It is a light. It makes dark less darker! Good quality and intuitive to use. I use it for digital photography but it can also be used for video.

Pros:Overall I am very pleased. Quality solid build product, hi CRI value with accurate colors and very good light.Battery life is also very good, supports fast charging witch is great.Cons:The only point that I find as an opportunity for improvement is regarding the App.There are no specific details regarding the connection. The trick that worked for me is to turn on the location before starting the app and power on the lights, this procedure must be done at every use of the App.Smallrig if you are reading this PLEASE take this in consideration and address to the issues regarding the App, at least from the connection point of view.

Do not download the app on Google Play. It's nonfunctional. Download the app from their website.I love the magnets on this light. In fact, the magnets on the side help the light stick to metal surfaces with its back as well. I got 4 of these lights, put them together, and now I have a large soft light. I only wish the app could turn off and adjust all of them together instead of having to switch to each light separately to control it.

I never write reviews but feel I needed to for this. This is by far the best compact portable light you will find. Both in terms of quality AND price. Starting off with the packaging, it is identical to unboxing an Apple product as they used quality materials and an organized layout. They clearly put thought into that. In the box is the light, USB-C braided cable, rubber diffuser and instruction manual. Moving on to the light, it is the brightest I’ve used. Coming from the Aputure MC being my primary compact light, the SmallRig is noticeably brighter and in turn the colours appear more vivid when using hues. You can change colour temp, hues and set FX lighting. It has a 1/4” mount, strong magnetized surfaces on 3 sides and the back. The back also includes a display screen for adjusting your lighting. It also has a battery indicator that accurately changes based on how bright the light is or what mode you’re using. Very clever to have included that. All in all I feel it is a better quality product than other brands at an even better price. Would not hesitate to purchase again.

This is a fantastic light for the cost. It's wonderfully versatile and has great features to support a variety of lighting needs. These features, however, are downplayed by the constant hassle of needing to reset the Bluetooth connection. I have had to repair the light 99% of the time that I turn it on for use. The app is great and feature loaded but very annoying to need to repair the device on a constant basis. Hopefully they have a way to update with a fix. I still recommend this product for anyone looking for a budget friendly light.
