I am using this with a Sony ZV1, and it does everything that it is supposed to do without a problem. The removable remote is nice for starting and stopping recording without going to the camera. There are other grips from other companies similar to this one, but this one has a better design with the telescoping feature, rubberized grip, magnetically held in rechargeable remote, and threaded base so you can mount it on a tripod or other mount. To top it off this one is coming in at the same price as lesser units.Overall, I really like and would recommend this grip.

Perfectly sized and functional grip. Used it on my Sony A6700. Easy to set up. The tripod function is useful and the magnetic remote is super convenient.

I have never failed to receive great quality in materials, design, construction, and workmanship from SmallRig and this item continues that tradition. I have found this very useful when I really do not wish to carry a full, and long, monopod around. This unit allows me almost as much control and stability while not intruding on limited space and tight areas. The tripod aspect of use just provides an additional dimension making this quite a versatile addition to my inventory. Plus ... the price is quite fair,

Klare Empfehlung.

Sometimes a standard tripod is too big, unwieldy, or impractical. A smaller tripod or selfie stick is then appropriate. I've tried several units, with each failing in some area, usually sturdiness. SmallRig's name and reputation led to my order.PROS:+ combo grip/tripod offers flexibilty of use in a variety of situations+ small, but very sturdy (made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel rather than plastic)+ head is adjustable with lock for both tilt and pans. tilt covers about 180 degrees of arc. pan covers 360 degrees+ removeable BT camera controller offers camera control of functions far beyond simple shutter control -. telephoto and zoom. focus. recording. custom (for Nikon and Sony)+ BT on-board controller storage built-in to device+ BT controller uses USB-C for charging, rather than wasteful batteriesCONS:- tilt has pre-fixed "stops", sometimes requiring adjustment of subject location and attitude to ensure in-frame shot- instruction manual uses, as is usual these days, very tiny and faint fonts and diagrams, making it almost unusable without a magnifying glassCONCLUSION: I strongly recommend use of this high-quality, functional grip/tripod for steady video-logging, close-up camera shots, and other indoor/stable environments

This grip is basically the Swiss army tool for camera nerds who do a bit of everything—vlog, shoot, livestream, or just want to avoid looking like a human tripod. The wireless remote is slick, magnetic (read: hard to lose), and works seamlessly with Sony, Nikon, and Canon once paired. Extends just enough for a flattering selfie frame, and tilts great. Feels solid in-hand, and the tripod mode is way more stable than you'd expect for something this portable.Pros:Remote is cool; shutter, zoom, and focus from 30+ feet awayConverts from grip to tripod to stick without feeling gimmickyCompact enough to live in your camera bag full-timeCons:Max load gets wobbly when extended—don’t push it with big rigsNo pouch or case includedCharging port is USB-C (yay), but has an 8V limit (boo—read your charger)

This works well with my Sony a6400 with the 18-135mm lens in handheld or tripod mode. The selfie extension also feels reasonably stable when fully extended. The remote is easy to pair and just works as expected.
