Bought two of these to use with my Mevo Start streaming set up (travel ball). Works perfectly. Holds a phone or a power bank firmly. Cold shoe is very secure. Good design, easy to use.

Using it with my Sony a6400 to take a long video. I have pretty big 20000 mAh power bank, but it's being held good. Using either "cold shoe" mount, or screw it to the camera cage when using it

I have a Vixen Polar Star Tracker that runs on AA batteries (but goes through them quickly) or via a Micro USB external power supply. The problem I had was finding a place to put the power bank as the power supply. This SMALLRIG Power Bank Holder is the perfect solution. It is compact and relatively light in weight, which is important as the Vixen Polar can only hold a maximum of 1.5kg (including a camera, lens, and ball head mount). At 53g, this SMALLRIG holder wasn't going to be an issue. I have tested this with 3 different shaped and sized power banks, and all were held securely, making this SMALLRIG holder very versatile. When I placed the item for order it was £17.99 plus a 15% digital voucher discount. It is slightly bordering on the expensive side, but I have no doubt this will last a long time, as I have had other SMALLRIG camera accessories that are equally made to a high standard in terms of design and manufacturing levels.

The have a nice balance of clamping force - not too tight but also not so loose you have to worry about gear falling out. I've used them to mount external battery packs to cameras and USB-C hubs to iPhone recording rigs. It's nice that you can remove the cold shoe mount and directly connect these using 1/4-20 to a rig. I'll probably get more to have handy when I need them!

Necesitaba algo para agarrar powerbanks a la cámara de forma versátil. Esto cumple sobradamente con su función.Dado que engancho una powerbank para hacer timelapses nocturos, y así dar potencia, tanto a la cámara, como a los calentadores de lente, necesitaba algo así para poder acoplar sin problemas al cage, o incluso al trípode si lo atornillas a un clamp.🟢 Material de plástico, muy bien construido en negro mate, con un aspecto bastante premium.🟢 Al ser de plástico en gran parte, es bastante ligero, por lo que se agradece mucho frente a otras alternativas en aluminio.🟢 Lleva un coldshoe enganchado, que se puede quitar para poder enganchar mediante el mismo tornillo a un cage o cualquier otro accesorio.🟢 Lleva una goma en la parte inferior, para proteger el powerbank que vayas a acoplar. Parece de un material duradero, y engancha powerbanks bastante grandes, incluso de forma vertical, gracias al agarre de la goma.🔴 La verdad es que para un producto tan básico y que cumple de sobras, y además añade versatilidad al conjunto frente a otras alternativas que personalmente he probado, no encuentro una contra sustancial que se pueda mejorar en ese aspecto.🔴 Los que estéis aquí, ya sabéis que los precios de SmallRig no son bajos. Por lo que suelo recomendar este accesorio bajo oferta si no lo necesitáis urgentemente, o no os importe pagar un poco la calidad premium de este producto.Accesorio fundamental para fotógrafos, o videografos que quieran acoplar powerbanks, o incluso smarphones, a sus cámaras.10/10

This Small Rig Power Bank holder is a nice little find. Very well made, able to clip in batteries, power banks or little battery powered lights. So far, using for a week, seems sturdy enough, had no issues,Designed well and a great addition to your camera bag. Inexpensive and worth the price
