My partner's sister just got a new puppy, and I got these for her at the holidays to help her with her training. She really seemed thrilled at the idea of helping her dog learn to alert her when it has an urgent need, but as I've learned, the dog sometimes just wants to go outside even without having to go potty. So, it works, but maybe it works too well? If your dog knows to ring a bell to get you to let them out, they'll learn pretty quickly how easy it is to train you instead.

I ordered this for my friend's dog who stays at my home quite often. He had learned to ring a bell to go outside, so I thought why not a doorbell? He caught on quickly and is now able to ring the doorbell when he needs to go potty. This doorbell was easy to set up, simple to teach and so far has worked flawlessly. I haven't tried changing the melody since he has learned to "ring" it. This is a great solution for the indoor dog, especially for those with larger homes.

This door bell for potty training works great. Its super easy to use, even though I am still trying to train my pup with it. She is definitely catching on, on how to hit it when she wants to go outside. Its small and lightweight. I was able to stick the door bell buttons low enough for her to hit it with her paw or nose. I placed one right by the back door. The set comes with two. The adhesive on it is very strong and holds it in place very well. Its real durable and good quality. The sound quality is great as well, its loud and sounds just like a door bell.

i really was looking forward to this dog duty trainer but when i opened it it went south right away, the little transmitters looked good and seemed to function but the receiver had two of the three buttons pushed in and were not responsive, so i opened it up and found the red (main power wire) was completely detached from the terminal and the two buttons were just hanging there by a thread both broken from the pcb itself.with this i would not recommend this dog trainer i know there are a lot more of these to choose from and hey its possible this was a one off but all in all this was my experience.
