Honestly I’m a woman and my skills are limited but I installed this all by myself simply by watching the video on the product page and it couldn’t have been easier. The app set up was insanely easy and I haven’t had a lick of issues from it other than my own placement of finger problems. I’m telling you , this. Is the one!! Get it!! You won’t be disappointed!! Stupid simple !! Does what it’s supposed to and dose its job well!

This biometric knob seems to be so well made that one might expect to pay more than the $40 I paid for it. While installation is simple, I had to modify the screws that attached the inside and outside halves together. These screws were so long that they bottomed out before tightening the knob halves to the door. This was an easy fix for me (because I have the appropriate tools), but might not be for everyone.After two days of use we have experienced no mechanical or electrical issues. I will update my review of the product after six months of use.

Works fine, I like the features being able to assign temporary pass codes. Pitfalls: it doesn't maintain wifi connection and you have to pay for monthly subscription to access all features.

I was looking for an interior doorknob that my daughter could use to keep her little brothers out of her room but not have to have her stow away a key either on herself or hidden near her door. This doorknob offers the versatility of using both a code or fingerprint to gain access. Highly recommend.

I put this off for a week thinking it would take a while, but it was actually super easy to do. I took all the items out to see if all was complete and it was. It is marked 'top' so that was easy, Please read the instructions first. You have to charge the lock first with a C connection for 3 hours to charge it completely. It took less time. Check the light it changes when fully charged. Start with the side hardware to the door and the door trim. After that, you place the lock in place and install it. You download the app on your phone. Look for the member management admin. You place a finger against the lock for the fingerprint. You move your finger a few times till all lines in your fingerprint have been recorded on the app. If giving another person in the household access you can add them under the administrator and record their fingerprint with the app and the lock. DONE! Took maybe 15 min. Love the lock!
