This scale is nice overall. I like the functionality and settings. You can set it to manual mode or automatic. Automatic mode helps with weighing the coffee and then after 4 seconds it tares to 0 and you pour the water. That way you can weigh both and then it starts the timer. If you aren't paying attention though then you only have one shot as then you have mixed it and you can't go back and weigh the coffee by itself of course. I prefer manual mode where you can tare it and adjust. It has a max weight of 6.6lbs or 3kg. It uses usb-c and comes with a charge cord but not a brick.The construction is mostly plastic. The rubber piece on top is a nice touch and is detachable if you wish. Mine keeps having an issue though where I tare it and then it keeps changing the weight even if I don't add anything to it. It usually goes -2.5g or so but jumps around which is really odd and annoying when trying to precisely weigh something. This is without adding anything or touching the scale. That is the main reason I took a star off. This is even with using manual mode and hitting tare. I am not sure what is going on. I looked in the manual and there isn't any information that I am seeing. I even tried it on different surfaces and it didn't make it a difference. Maybe I just got a dud but it makes it hard to weigh things accurately.

This scale is super slick. As soon as I got it, I charged it up which only took about an hour. To turn it on you press the ‘touch’ button. It is highly sensitive which I love. I got this for roasting my coffee. I was frustrated that my roasts were inconsistent because the weight was inconsistent. Well, not any more with this scale, I can perfectly measure out the 230 grams for each roast. It is accurate and easy to use.

I got this to use as both a general kitchen scale as well as specifically for pour over coffee. It's excellent for both. The display is clear and easy to read, while the whole unit looks very clean. I tested it with multiple reads of a 100 g weight and it came out accurate each time. But by far, best for me is that it is USB rechargeable so goodbye to batteries. Very happy with this!

The Smart Weigh Coffee Scale is a nice scale for the price. Mine already had a charge when I got it so I was able to use it right out of the box. I absolutely love that it is rechargeable because my other one takes 4 batteries. I prefer manual mode and I use it not just for coffee but for anything small that needs to be weighed. This is perfect when I travel and every ounce I pack counts. It also works for weighing packages to mail.

I like how accurate this scale is, especially for dialing in my espresso shots and pour-over coffee. The LED display is super clear, even in low light, and the sound feedback is a nice touch (though I muted it after a while). It’s compact, easy to use, and the tare function makes it quick to get exact measurements without the guesswork. Great little scale for the kitchen or coffee station.

These scales are great for weighing coffee or any other foods. I always use kitchen scales to measure quantities when cooking, resorting to volume measures only when absolutely necessary.The design is attractive, with a display that’s bright and easy to read, irrespective of the ambient lighting. The rubber rubber mat helps to prevent slipping, and is a nice touch. It makes cleaning easier too.The best feature, relative to similar products I’ve used, is the rechargeable battery, with a USB-C port for charging.Overall, I’m happy with this product, and I can recommend it.

I couldn't find accurate product dimensions anywhere on the product page, so the exact measurements are 5.9 x 5.1 x 0.9 inches, or 15 x 13 x 2.3 cm. This scale uses a USB-C connection to charge, which is always a plus. It comes with clear instructions and an optional rubber mat that you can place on top of the scale. Without the rubber mat, the top of the scale has a smooth, glass-like surface.I am using this as a generic kitchen scale, as I don't do pour-over coffee. So I am reviewing the Manual mode instead of the Automatic or Timer modes. The numbers are big and bright and it's easy to operate, including taring and changing the units. I especially like how this scale measures more precisely compared to other more generic kitchen scales, even if the max capacity of this scale is a bit lower. However it's still large enough in capacity for all of my needs.Overall this is a premium-feeling product with a sturdy build that I expect will last for a long time.
